Getting To Know: José María Callejón, Real Madrid

He scores lots of goals and lets Jose Mourinho ride him like a pony, but that’s pretty much all we ever knew about Real Madrid’s 24-year-old headline stealer.
Recently opening up in an interview, Callejón revealed that his bestie in the locker room is none other than The Ramos™. We can only assume that’s who taught him the hair primping process he’s demonstrating above so kindly for us. Let’s hope Callejón doesn’t pay too close attention to Sergio’s fashion, though. We don’t think we can handle seeing green jeans on more than one ‘baller.
If you can get past the hair, you’ll be crushed to know that JMC only has eyes for his girlfriend, Marta. They live together with her daughter Paula, whom he considers and raises as his own. He even requested that his interview with Real Madrid TV open with the song, ‘Háblame’, by Malú because it reminded him of Marta. Sweet.
Keep an eye out for José Kickettes, and feed us anything else about him that’s worth knowing.

He used to have the coolest hair in Spain when he played for Espanyol. Now he has tamed it a bit. Why does everyone turn boring when they join RM? Like when Adebayor cut his dreds to look more appropriate for the team. Is it because it's the "Royal" team, or what?

RM players tamed?…I would think not!
But Marcelo was born with his curls, as was his Barca counterpart Puyol. And Cris and Ramos are very conventional. I was very disappointed with Callejon actually when i saw him the first time for RM. His hair wasn't nearly as punk-ish as it used to be. And then I thought of Adebayors words. Obviously they feel that they got to conform.
Cris is conventional? ok Guti then or Beckham if you think Ramos is conventional.
Not really, marcelo started growing his hair season ago, he was bald since he joined Real Madrid, I know that Ade said that, but it doesn't mean that he was controlled by the club or club asked him to do it, maybe he thought he needed to look better as he did with shorter hair.
As for Callejon his hair is still crazy up, he might get hair-cuts to shorten it, but it didn't change.
Anyway, I don't think RM make them boring or control their players, as it is one of their problems anyway.
But if you think so, I won't change your mind, it is your opinion afterall

I know I love him! I love his attitude, you can tell that he has this gratitude and focus playing for the Mirenges. And I love his reverent reactions when interviewers ask him about Mourinho's favor towards him.
And I will note that he is the ONLY one that can work that big hair!
