Gone Public: Iker Casillas and Sara Carbonero
Spanish newsstands are no longer safe. Tabloids in the country’s capital are caught in a big tizzy over the recent discovery of Iker Casillas and Sara Carbonero’s impressive public kiss.
We’re not surprised about the passionate embrace, either, since he was once known to hug and cuddle David Beckham with the same (or more) tender love and care.
With that in mind, we’re kind of over it. We’ve been yakking about these two hooking up for a while, so although it’s nice to see they believe in the power of photo-proof as well, we can’t help but feel their relationship confirmation is somewhat anti-climatic.
(Before you say it, we are fully aware that denial is not just a river, y’all.)

There must be something in the air: Frank Lampard allowed the paparazzi to photograph himself with girlfriend Christine Bleakley on the way to breakfast earlier this week.
Previously he was a shadow lurking in the distance and even attempted to hide from the cameras by covering his face after a night at the Dorchester with Christine. Who does he think he is, a starlet with a cold sore?
I know one day I'm going to meet him and when I do I'll give Sara a run for her money. I mean that's if she's still around
I don't understand what is wrong with this stupid Sara girl. It's either you want the man yes or no. We know you want the man real bad and that the only reason you are playing hard to get and doing all those stunts you are pulling trying to distract Iker and stuff is because you are using that act to pressure Iker into asking you to marry him, and you planned that if he asks you you will punish him by pretending that you're not really interested, because you figured he should have popped the question a long time ago. Steups!!!!
At least he doesn't look like AN ABSOLUTE FASHION TRAIN-WRECK in those pictures! If she has anything to do with that, I suggest they get married PRONTO.

Well, Iker… I'm disappointed. Now only is Sara dressed like any other WAG, she isn't that much cop! It looks like he has lowered his standards by a long mile!
It doesn’t matter if the whole world thinks she’s jinxed. as long as Iker doesn’t believe she was the reason for their CL exit, then it’s useless. if anything, he’s going to sympathise with her for all the nasty things that will be written about her and who knows? their relatioship might grow stronger

I know my country wont win it either but I'm still rooting for my country! And you know actually my country faces Spain in the WC group stage so that builds up more the excitement for me!
I really hope Iker doesnt block the goals from my team. We really need to beat Spain in the WC!

U know!!! U are right, Pamela. She was seeing that David guy and Iker other woman. Obviously the attraction was there but they did nothing about it whilst seeing others, so it makes you question how deep this relationship will be. I feel sorry for that David guy.

Im sure that if we really wanted to go to Madrid and marry him we would have attempted that by now…. I definitley know by reading some of the comments on kickette that half, no 3/4, of the kickettes are talented, beautiful, successful and good woman who just want to be loved.
And usually single, successful woman like me know what they want in life and tend to go out and get it. Money, having the connections to meet him and having already met him close up will definitely not be a problem.
We just know that Iker is a special one and we are giving him that credit!!!

. I agree most of the comments we make are just us kidding. Like I know (and probably most of us girls here on kickette) that it a slim to none chance of us ever getting Iker. We have a crush and there is nothing wrong it. And so we are a bit upset that he has a gf theres nothing wrong with that either but most of it is just exaggerated for fun!! So don’t take us to seriously. Thats what Kickette was made for was for us girls to have fun with our footballer fanasties lol.

For the first time last night i saw Iker kneel, look up and acknowledge God after that goal went through him. It was really surprising!!! I usually just see him shake his head.

I sympathize with you ladies on how disappointed, sad and angry you all are. My niece is, however, very happy about this development. Finally, she said, everyone will stop bugging me to marry Iker when I come of age.
Sooner or later, Iker will chose the lady he wants to be with temporarily (hey there is still some hope here) or even permanently (sorry).
I think there is another option that can be considered. That Iker will follow the footsteps of Tiger Woods, spread his attention to many ladies. Some ladies here accepted the fact that they could only share him with others. That anyone of them will be his sole interest is a fantasy. But, I'm sure no one among you will even let that option race through your brains. So, the fact that Iker is only with one lady can be thought of as what we call "consuelo de bobo" or even celebrated as some of you have by wishing him well. This should make everyone accept reality and move on. I will send you my bill for this later. Please don't throw rocks.
