Please Extinguish Your Libidos: We’ve recently been considering the possibility of moving our brand into new and even more exciting territories, but sadly this photo does not capture the maiden flight of Kickette Airways. Juan Pablo Angel and Dan Kennedy were actually aboard a far more conventional (and probably competent) airline for Chivas USA’s 2012 kit launch a couple of days ago, along with teammates, assorted ChivasGirls and 150 lucky punters. So much for our mile-high club aspirations.
Here’s Hope’in: If you find yourself in the unusual position of being a Seattle native AND a Hope Solo girlcrush victim, today is a day for celebration. The former MagicJacks keeper has signed for the Sounder’s women’s side, along with Sydney LeRoux, whose recent exploits in the USWNT have drawn accusations of glory hunting. We’re just glad there’s going to be women’s soccer in the US next season. It seemed for a while there, that it was all done n’dusted.

How Much?: Due to a great deal of financial tomfoolery that’s beyond everybody’s understanding, SPL Champions Rangers FC went into administration this week. According to reports, the club owe in excess of £8million to the UK tax office, which unbelievably is even more than we owe on our credit cards. Fingers crossed that they emerge unscathed, although we’d be interested to hear what any Kickette Rangers have to say on the subject.
Loser Alert: Southampton Striker Billy Sharp is being taunted on Twitter about the death of his baby son. Luey Jacob passed away last October while Billy played for Doncaster Rovers, and according to reports the hero behind the comments claims to be a disgruntled fan, who didn’t want the player to leave for new club Southampton. We suspect that he will have to leave Doncaster fairly soon if the real fans catch up with him.
Near Fish Experience: Ok, so no snorking at the back when we tell you that Shakira had a rather unpleasant encounter with a sea-lion this week. The singer was taking pictures of the whiskered beast while visiting a zoo in Cape Town, when it turned on her, “roared in fury” and “tried to bite her“. It sounds awful, but if we’re being honest it’s no worse than what we staffers experience every day when we try to approach the Editor’s office.

I agree calling someone sick is very insulting.# Tough Crowd the girl is joking and I am sure a lot of people are aware of that. Like what kind of place are you living in. I hear this kind of humor everyday. Some people like to put a bit of humor on a bad situation it might not be your kind of humor but I'm sure people get what she is saying. Life is not about be miserable. If everyone had to think about every word before they say it then life would be pretty crap.
But it's Shakira they're talking about, you know. Then everything is ok. Apparently. Try joking about whatshername Nagore the same way. All hell would break lose. Cause of her PDA's, Shakira is a sitting duck. It's all so predicable.

I'm a Rangers fan and I'm going to the game tomorrow, I have to say i'm really proud of the way the fans have rallied around the team. I think we can get through this, I just want to know how we managed to get into this situation in the first place, i'm heartbroken to be honest. The thought of losing my club, it kinda kills me…
