Hair Issues: The Spanish National Team
Something very serious is going on within the ranks of the mucho-winning, always entertaining Spanish National team. There would appear to be an epidemic of bad hair choices occurring.
We give you:
Cesc Fabregas – it’s a blonde mohawk incorporated into his regular coiffure*;
Sergio Ramos – it’s… well, we don’t know what exactly this is, but it was last seen on American television in the late eighties;
Fernando Torres – it’s a bobby pin.
Should we stage an intervention, or celebrate the boys for their creative use of hair tools and accessories? Probably both.

*During Spain’s 6-0 trouncing of Azerbaijan during their WC friendly, Cesc suffered from a nasty, very bloody knock to the head which later required stitches. We think the bandages/head covering are an improvement over the Nasri-inspired dye-job. We are, of course, here to nurse Cesc back to health and simultaneously rush him to a the nearest salon.

What cesc did with his hair is attrocious!! i inmediatly think in beckham’s one (but in the case fits)and about ramos… i don’t know what’s worst anyway, go guys… despite your hair

Hahaha I gotta laugh at my silly boys for their hair-do, but Ramos needs to dye his hair to another color because its looks nasty!!! Anyways VIVA ESPANA and its SEXY FOOTBALLERS!!!

Cesc-y’s fine…well, the head wound. Maybe knock some sense into him? Sergio seems to be affected by the same affliction I am. When he’s depressed, he cuts his hair. We need to get that boy some happiness, STAT, or he’ll be bald soon.

No Sergio No! Poor cesc though when I saw him on the news last night when Spain arrived in SA, his head and hair looked pretty alright.

Ok, I can at least understand Nando's pin. I have hair that is too short to pull back, but long enough to get in my face and become bothersome unless I put it in a headband with multiple bobby pins before a workout. However, a blonde mohawk and Sergio's uh, whatever that is, are inexcusable!

Dawwww, Nando's channeling Gigi w/ the bobby pin! The rest, I don't know what to say… except express concern. Mostly for Cesc. I think I've given up on fully understanding Sergio's choices. Hope Cesc is okay now!

What is Torres doing here?…there is no shame in bobby pins..at least, he didn't have 10 of them at one go…but i do have issues with The Ramos…there's a limit to the 80s trend and his hair is it!!!!!
I can deal with Fernando's because it isn't absolutely terrible and I can deal with Sergio's because.. well, its Sergio. I cannot deal with Cesc Fabulous's hair. Its terrible and should be corrected this minute.

As for the horrible hair…well that’s nothing new to Spain. As long as they keep playing pretty football, does it really matter if they look pretty?
