Nothing really needs to be said about the special, ongoing and open relationship between these two Englishmen.
And if you are going to say something, please don’t have it be along the lines of pointing out the spatial differences between their positions and it all being a camera trick. We will only ignore your attempt at ruining our fun.

Can’t wait for the game tonight – don’t know about you dear readers, but we are chomping at the bit for the World Cup to hurry on up. We love us some International action. Oh I love both those pictures. So funny. I think England are going to get their butts kicked. I'm just hoping it'll not be too painful to watch (the Spanish pretty factor may help with this) and that no one gets injured.
I hope it's going to be an injury free event. We will miss mainly Wayne, Joe and Theo. The defence looks quite good. I worry about the attack. Hopefully Capello will put the in form players on and not the 'I have an automatic right' ones. Oh and Rio looks like he is going to stomp his foot any minute. Bless.

I’m hoping that we can play with the same confidence that we saw in the last few international matches. None of this running around like headless chickens. However, I’d settle for avoiding embarassment. A draw, perhaps? Hopefully, the players will return fit.

No comment re: photo of JT and Lampsie, but the “bitch, please” photo is classic! Rio and David James look seriously ready to kick some @$$! Love it!!! Spain has some very pretty — I mean, amazing — players, but I think England can hold their own even without Joey and Theo. And with Rooney out, there should be very little nastiness. It’s a friendly, so I’m hoping for a draw.
Loving the look of concentration on franks face. nice to see he’s making an extra special effort for his captain. As for the game I think it will be a good one. But I will be praying the entire time that nando doesn’t get injured or any of the ‘pool boys for that matter. I think rafa would explode if they did.
