Jack Wilshere: We’ll Gladly Dog-sit

If our beloved editors would allow it, the staffers on this website would post at least five pictures of animals in cute poses per day. We’re thinking of setting up a sister blog for just this purpose.
In the meantime, because the integrity of this site means everything to us (and they keep threatening us with apostrophe placement exercises), we are happy to limit our animal appreciation to ballers and their furry babies. Hauling you guys to the other end of the emotional spectrum today is Jack Wilshere, who in posing with his puppy beggars the question, who is cuter?
Is it Jack, with his dimples and supportive nursing technique, or the pooch, whose loving look at Daddy is melting us into sweet smelling puddles as we speak? Quite frankly, we’d to happy to offer both of them a nice, comfy basket in the corner of the office. You?

Jack is super adorable (as is his pug)…however he has the decorating taste of a 19 year old boy (his Union Jack leather couch is hilarious!). One of you tasteful young ladies needs to set him straight with your design talents (among other things).;)

Yeah, a bunch of footballers wear those Livestrong bracelets. Stuart Holden has one from his late father and tapes it up every game so that he doesn't have to take it off. Good cause to support (and conveniently it's by Nike, so most aren't violating contracts by wearing them)
