John Terry Can’t Park
With the news that John Terry has been busted parking his Bentley in a handicapped space while having a long lunch with the family at Pizza Express, we’re torn.
On one hand, those pizzas are bloody good, and when that craving hits what are you going to do, drive around looking for a real parking space? Please. Who has time for that? The pepperoni wants what it wants. Also, hungry kids locked in a confined space is never good. Maybe they needed to vacate and eat asap.
That said, we would recommend to our readers that one has the servant or driver park up the car, while you make a break for a window table and get ordering rather than park in a space clearly marked for people who are disabled.
Here at Kickette HQ, we know many people who park in handicapped spaces “just for a minute” or who use handicapped bathroom stalls on the regs if they’re free. We can’t do. Deal breaker. The thought of heading back to the car, stomach full of red wine and pizza, and seeing a feeble old granny hiking in from across the carpark because her space was taken is too much for us. Who knew we had such a conscience?

i’ve despised JT for a while now, and this just reinforces the feeling…I am the holder of a legal Blue Badge (a disabled parking sticker) and think he is the lowest of the low: not only is he able-bodied compared to me and other disabled people, but he’s probably one of the most physically fit human beings
on the planet…to illegally use a disabled spot for his personal use is arrogant and thoughtless in the extreme…this is just one more example of dressing mutton as lamb: money doesn’t buy you class

Well he wore the cruches so many times this year that maybe he starts to fell that he has the right to park there. I have a question: I don’t have a Bentley but I have a similar type of car and its pretty difficult to put all my things when I go to work in the back sets so how JT manage to put all his family in there with the baby bar seats? I wanna know …..
At how many times this guy wore cruches this year maybe he thinks that he is a person fitting in the category.Usually football players take after other football players not their wives(Alex Curran a person so at home with parking in the wrong places).
BTW how the hell all 4 of them fit in that car? Its not too small?
Thanks Elise I thought that the back seats are smaller. My Audi TT is.The Becks kids are bigger then the twins and those 2 need those big baby car seats. Funny for a footballer eating pizza its not so healthy(and I’m Italian and I know something about pizza).

I understand 60pounds is hardly a drop in the bucket in MR. JT’s salary but still….shows how classless he is. I’m not a Chelsea fan but I used to have a lot of respect for Terry..untill I saw all the horrible stories…(the urinating, the cheating, and worst of all, the making rude comments to some American tourists about 9/11 back in the day.) Sorry Elise, I apologize to you specifically because I remember your post about fellow Kickettes here not being quite so tactful in their opinions and my dislike of Terry is no way directed at you or meant to hurt your feelings but…the 9/11 thing…low, low, low. I thought he’d grown up in the past few years but the urinating/drinking stories have proven he has not. England was better off keeping Beckham as Captain or giving the armband to Gerrard. For the record I’m not a Liverpool fan.
No worries, freddiegirl (but it was really nice of you to think of me). I know this was wrong and I’d like to grab him and shake him, and ask him just WTF he was thinking. But I love him so much, I just look past it all. I have no excuses but that.

because people do it , that does not make it righ if i was handicapped and somebody park their car in handicapped space i woul block their car whit mine and leave to do my things

Although I have to admit that this made me and my sister remember one Simpsons episode when Homer parks in a handicapped place, gets off the car and pretends to have some kind of disability on his leg… Do you think JT tried that one too?
My nan is among the people who actually NEED to use these spaces and they really make a difference so I am frowning down on you Mr Terry! However if the man in question was Xabi, then I would gladly kick my nan aside to make room for him! Priorities

TFO, I hear you about the animals in cars. I was on holiday once and discovered a dog locked in a car with the windows up. The dog was obviously in distress. I started shouting and in minutes there was a huge crowd of people gathered around, and so the resort police were there very soon and immediately began trying to locate the owners. Meanwhile the poor little dog is looking out the window at us like ‘help me’. I couldn’t bear it. I was about 2 minutes from throwing a rock through the window in front of the police. No joke- I had the rock picked out. Probably a dozen people there had written notes to the owners letting them know what they thought of them and stuck them all over the windscreen. Once the police located the owners they made all of us leave the area because they were afraid the owners were going to get their asses kicked. That day, and people’s reaction to it, restored a bit of my faith in humanity. So I can completely understand your ‘caped avenger’ stance…and I’ve gotten quite a laugh out of picturing it too!

LOL wow must have been a slow news day in the UK. People dying all over the world? Naaaaah, let’s spotlight a footballer parking in a disabled spot, especially since about 100 people do it a day. (Not that it’s right, it’s just sad that it’s news.)
Okay, I know people do it all the time and it isn’t news, but I can’t believe he’d even think about it, knowing that his every freaking move is being monitored by anyone hoping he doesn’t get the England armband back. And it is pretty shameful when the car park is just across the street. Bad John. Having said that, he’d really have to be running the grannies over in the street for me to really think ill of him. And in order to show how bad I feel for what he’s done, I personally offer to administer any punishment which may be deemed appropriate…like spanking or being tied to the bed and covered in cream or…. LOL I’m committed to helping him make amends!

I wish they’d put little barriers across the disabled spaces that you could only open with your orange badge. Just relying on the goodwill of the ABs never works…
That’s low. I have been known to leave nasty notes on windshields of similar nobs. And trust me when I say that I can get pretty nasty when I feel the urge. The only thing worse is leaving dogs in parked cars on hot days. For that, I have called the cops. So, I’m basically the caped avenger of parking lots. LOL – security word is dark71.

And think about it this way, if you’re trying to keep the captaincy wouldn’t you be minding your p’s and q’s? Stevie stays out of the spotlight, lets his actions on the pitch speak for themselves and the first picture of him on Kickette in a LONG time is an adorable one of him and his daughter. He has his head on straight!
See, this is one of the reasons why Steven should be captain. They’re both top of their game, but Steven’s got that little bit of extra off the pitch. He doesen’t get drunk and urinates in clubs etc. etc. (God knows his wife makes up for that).
He’s also setting a really poor example for his kids. I know that they’re really tiny but such behaviour by JT is probably commonplace so in time, the kids will grasp what he’s doing and think that it’s alright.
It’s never alright to hog disabled parking spots! No class.

Just shows you that money and fame can’t buy you class – or common human decency. Does he really think that he is more important than everyone else – notably, handicapped people? That everyone else takes a back seat to his glory? Now what glory would that be – the non-qualification under your captainship peeing on dance floor glory?Harsh, I know. But there is really no excuse for this level of crassness and I have absolutely no respect for this man, or his wife at this point. Unacceptable and down right shameful.
