When I had my first baby I was back good jess than 12 hours after having her! They look so happy congratulations on your new arrival x x x

Forgot to add, that in the UK many women opt to give birth in their own homes. If baby and mum are fine, I dont see the problem. It is best for mum and baby to be in a relaxed atmosphere, and where better than home. Midwifes attend and a doctor visits very soon after birth to check mum and baby over.

A friend of mine left hospital with her baby 3 hours after the birth of her second child. Both mum and baby were fine, natural birth, and they wanted home!

I could hardly walk for a few days, so well done Coleen !

They both looks chuffed to bits and I can hardly wait to see the first pics of kai.

they look great together – and Coleen, OMG I so envy her. When I was living hospital I could hardly walk and was sooo weak.
