Kaka: Golden Paper Boy
Cristiano Ronaldo may have a Ballon d’Or (Golden Ball), but his boyfriend Kaka is the proud recipient of the Marca Golden Newspaper Boy award. Wonder how many newspapers he delivered to the many residents of Madrid to take home the prize? Fascinating.
No, wait. That’s not factually correct. It’s called the “Marca Leyenda” (Marca Legend), and the newspaper gives it to their pick for the top male athlete in any sport.

Kaka looks like my classmate that gets teased a lot and picked on. They tell him he's invited to a birthday party and he gets all gussied up – shirt, tie, shorts, knee-socks – then sits at the edge of his bed holding his present waiting for the boys to pick him up but they never come.

I would love to see Ryan Giggs walk away with it but I think of all the nominees Leo Messi really is the one who is the most deserving.

I want to Stevie to win it so bad! But it’s not gonna be him…I don’t really care about whoever actually wins it. Stevie deserves it after all he’s done for Liverpool. But they’re gonna give to a flashy (flashy-er?) footballer.
I would obviously love to see Gerrard or Torres take it, but I think Messi deserves it. And I’m quite certain he will win it.

Of course Messi will win. He's got those electric feet or whatever they claim in that commercial. He wouldn't make my list, but I'm admittedly biased so I'll shut up and play nice. It is an honor to be nominated and I congratulate all of the nominees, especially my Frank. In fact, I'd like to personally congratulate Frank next month while I'm in London. Call me Frankie baby!
well messi does deserve it! barca won everything there was to win and he was one of the key players..iniesta and xavi deserve it as well but i think it's messi's time! i mean..he is the best in the world!

While I agree Messi is v. talented, he wouldn't be *as* amazing without Xavi/Iniesta feeding him the ball (just look at how he plays for Argentina), so I think one of them should win it.
While I'd love for either of the Liverpool boys to have it, I think one of the Barcelona trio of Messi, Xavi or Iniesta deserve it.

I think Messi is adorable, and that is why I started long ago referring to him as the fraggle. Some have attempted to use that term of endearment as a way to bash, but it is not. he is a fraggle and a super talented one at that
