Kickette Body Language: Studying The Seven Deadly Sins

‘Yeah, so I was saying that according to Sartre, that park bench is merely a construct and doesn’t really exist.’ Image: Reuters/Daylife.

Philosophy is one of our favourite subjects at Kickette HQ. At any given moment, you’ll find us browsing the works of Dante, Albert Camus and Joey Barton, which are all conveniently situated next to the coffee maker.

We also watched the movie ‘Seven’ the other day and have been looking for an excuse to shoehorn the deadly sins into the world of football. Yay us!

Lust

No, Mario, lust! LUST! Not LIST! Image: Getty Images/Daylife.

Well, Kickettes, our philosophical quest is off to a terrible start since the first deadly sin has been misinterpreted by Balo, who is eagerly ripping off a laundry list of ‘conquests’ from last week alone.

Well, we suppose it is lust. Of a kind. Sigh.

Gluttony

The perils of dunking one’s head into the training ground’s jellybean dispenser are calmly explained to Axel Witsel of the Belgian NT by his coach. Don’t worry, Axel. This has happened to us on a number of occasions. The scars do fade after a while.

-

Greed

We learned through Google that greed has something to do with giving into earthly desires. And desires don’t get much more ‘earthly’ than the ones we’re currently harbouring for Joey ‘Peek-A-Tongue’ Hart.

Sloth

You’ll never grow up to be a big dashing boy like Chris Smalling if you don’t exercise properly, Ashley Young. Pick up the damn ball, y’all!

-

Wrath

Joechim Loew has decided to leave the German NT captaincy in Philipp Lahm’s capable hands, despite the ‘ballers open criticism of his training techniques. Lahm did reportedly receive a telling off for his bean-spilling book, which might be why he is bitchfacing Loew so hard that he’s about to tip over.

-

Envy (lead image)

Pepe realises that if he’s standing next to Cristiano and someone points a camera in their direction, they aren’t taking a photo of him. He has chosen to deal with this by pretending to make a moot point during every camera encounter so people will see him as the sensitive, thoughtful one. Sadly, no one is fooled and the world continues to stare longingly at his Crisp n’ Crunchy BFF.

Pride

Far be it from us to get into a row with the Catholic church, but ‘pride’ cannot be a sin. Not only would it throw our whole shallow existences into disarray, but it would mean that Mesut Ozil is wrong to look happy and smart in his special old lady peacoat. And Mesut is too cute to be wrong.

  1. Review of Muscle Imbalances Revealed Review – Upper Body Program

Whenrehabilitating and strengthening your upper body, there is little doubtthat when you use a thorough muscle movementtactic, you will most certainlyreachyour desired goalsmore rapidly. The daysare long gone when performing minimalrotator cuff work outswere all that was requiredin order to accomplishyour requiredresults. It’s nowwell knownthat you wantto take soft tissue and muscle imbalances of the adjoiningjoints into considerationas well. If you have been workingwith muscle strengthening and rehabilitation forany length of timenow, you have probablybeen knowledgeableof Rick Kaselj and his Muscle Imbalances Revealed program. His internet siteand educationalprogramsdealing with muscle imbalances involvingthe lower extremitiesis quite well knownand impressive. Well, this year, Rick has just concludeda new editionof his programof Muscle Imbalances Revealed that focuses on the upper body and this may be something you will wish to look at.

You most likely are notfamiliar with the concept, however, Muscle Imbalances Revealed Upper Body is a print and video educationcourseauthoredby Rick Kaselj featuringaddedpresentations by Tony Gentilecore, Jeff Cubos, Dean Somerset, as well as Rick himself.

These are all powerpoint presentationsessionsthat are have been recorded and can be downloaded from the web site.

Additionally, the problemwith many onlinevideo course presentations is that you must sitat your PCto look atthem, often times unable to advancethrough the presentation and returnto areasof interest. Frequently, any interruption of web servicewill call foryou to begin the completepresentation over again. This can be quiteannoying, not to statea waste of time.

With many video presentations you cannotdownload, you cannotburn the video presentation to a DVD and you can’tforwardto the bestpart of the presentation you would like.
Not the case with the Muscle Imbalances Revealed program. This courseenablesyou to download, burn and skipto any partof the 8 upper body video presentations.

Another plusto this curriculumis that with Muscle Imbalances Revealed, you can earn CEUs, CECs and PDCs.
    This is donein three painlesssteps.

Step 2 – While watching, you respond tothe multiple choice questionsthat come with the series.
Step 3 – Subsequentlyyou sendyour exam to them, they will markit and will send you the CEU/CEC recordsthat your association needs.

Generally, I considerthe program was well worth examining. Muscle Imbalances Revealed goes further thanstretching what is tight, strengthening what is weak or just performing remedialexercises. It assistsus in understandingthe synergies that exist within the body and walksyou through the intricaciesof muscle imbalances. I enjoyed the majorityof presentations and gainedseveral profitable tidbits.

Relatedto the lower body program, the websiteis designed well and the topics were definitely interesting. For the price, included CEU’s, and ability to gain knowledgefrom multiple experts in the field, I would recommendthis product for anyone involvedin the area of muscle strengthening and rehabilitation.

Rick Kaselj Muscle Imbalances Revealed Program is a valuable resource for anyone in the muscle strengthening and rehabilitation field. It is reviewed at http://www.muscleimbalancesrevealedreview.com and is an excellent value for all it contains.
