The animal kingdom had a good weekend, y’all.

First, Chelsea’s John Terry, took his wife and kids to meet characters from the movie “Madagascar” at Chessington World Of Adventures in Surrey. Then, Zinedine Zidane graced France’s Disneyland Resort with his presence to launch the new Disney Dreams show as part of the theme park’s 20th anniversary celebrations.

We had an equally eventful time off starting with multiple broken mobile devices on Friday night and ending with the cancellation of several misplaced credit cards on Sunday morning.

How did the rest of the Kickette Army fare?

Saturday

- Daniele De Rossi’s actress/girlfriend, Sarah Felberbaum, revealed in an interview how embarrassed she was by her father’s line of questioning upon meeting the AS Roma footballer and his teammates at a restaurant for the first time. Apparently DDR approached the father and daughter table to introduce himself, followed by Francesco Totti who identified himself as the captain, prompting Papa Felberbaum to clarify: “captain of what?”

- Once you learn of Maradona Jr’s unfortunate looks, you can never unknow it.

- Pique and his one and only Yoko celebrated their first anniversary with a semi-nekkid show for the paparazzi from their Milan hotel window.

Sunday

- If you (like us) thought Aura nightclub in London had a strict “dress to impress” code of conduct for patrons, you (like us) were wrong.

- A Lyon court will decide in a few days time whether or not Karim Benzema will be forced to pay 1500 euros a month to cover the cost of living for his grandmother. Apparently Benze feels he’s being singled out by family members due to his above average footballer wages that allow him to buy matching Gucci goodies, and was initially reluctant to pay the nominal cost. Since then, however, he’s proposed an alternative solution of sharing the financial burden with all the family’s grandchildren instead.

- The Sun’s faux Arsenal fragrance based on the club’s training ground scent was our number one April Fool’s Day failure.
