Saturday
- Manchester United’s Nani “let” his fiancee, Daniella Martins, drive his Lambo without his supervision and The Sun got their knickers in a twist over it.
- As The Offside Rules put it, NYRB Jan Gunnar Solli “would like to soundtrack your next regrettable, Wednesday night hookup in the toilets of the Hoboken W. Let him.”
- Ashley Cole dodged his former wife’s bandmates in the nick of time Saturday evening after the two groups of club-goers were seated in back-to-back VIP booths.
Sunday
- A great new place from one of our fave retired Japanese footballers for us to go sake bombing at. Alright!
- How many more hotties are Arsenal on the hunt for? Not that we’re complaining or anything.
- At long last, the beard and the messy bun exchanged knowing glances with each other on Sunday. Le Sigh.

My regrets to kickette for my failure to have a camera ready during Sunday's Seattle Sounders VS LA Galaxy game. Apparently, Beck's was having problem with his knickers. He lifted his shorts with cheek showing to fix them! Unfortunately it was not on the side where the tv cameras were either. Quite lovely scenery in Seattle.
Yeah, I'd expected to have had at least some mention of Kirk Urso's untimely passing on here.
Tragic news. Was one of his 1000 twitter followers. Didn't know him well at all but hearing of the news really shocked and upset me. So, so young too
My thoughts go out to all those who knew and loved him, especially his family, friends and everyone at the Crew. Truly heartbreaking…
That baby is too cute (so is the other kid, but he looks a bit grumpy).

Mostly I was just sad for the the family, friends, teammates and fans of Columbus Crew midfielder Kirk Urso. 22 is way too young to die. RIP Kirk.
I read about that. So incredibly sad. My heart goes out to his friends and family.
