How was last night’s closing ceremony for you, Kickettes?
- Helena Seger and her two boys made their luxury box debut to watch hubby/daddy/hottie, Zlatan, in action for Paris-St Germain. On a related note, Mrs Ibra had a bit of a scare sometime over the weekend after two men robbed her of 5000 euros and her handbag outside a Ralph Lauren store. The Swedish WAG was said to be rattled over the incident, and taking necessary precautions to avoid anything like this happening again in the future (i.e. hiring bodyguards, not carrying a wad of paper wherever she goes).
- Verona defender Emanuele Pesoli protested the three year ban he received from the Italian Football Federation by chaining himself the to the org’s headquarters and going on a hunger strike. Can anyone say: homeboy’s got issues?
- The 2012/13 footy season has barely begun but Red Bull Saltzburg’s Jonathan Soriano staked an extremely early claim for the “Most Appalling Penalty” award during his team’s Austrian Bundesliga match vs Rapid Vienna on Sunday.
