I agree so much with Anders Lindegaard! I hope that "gay hero" appears soon!
There's actually a pro gay athlete -project called You Can Play in the States that started with the NHL players expressing their support for any possible gay teammates, with a simple thought: no matter who you love, if you can play, you can play. It has spread out to other sports as well in North America, they're actually doing quite the great job, wish it would spread out to football in Europe as well.
That's awesome. Hopefully that attitude will become more widespread both in the States and make its way to other parts of the world too!
