Sad Face: It’s never nice to see how said professionals dress when they’re not in their own required sporting uniforms.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Raul Gonzalez and Rafael Nadal posed for a locker room photo today after the two Real Madrid footballers watched Rafa take on Dolgopolov Jr. in the Madrid Masters Tennis tournament. The thoughts that circulated through Ronaldo’s head as he spoke to himself in the mirror this morning; we do not have the time to even contemplate.
BTW, Nadal sure knows his way around European footy stars, doesn’t he? We wonder if he wouldn’t mind sharing his address book with us?
Similarly, Sergio Busquets, Gerard Pique, Bojan Krkik and Carles Puyol attended the Euroleague Basketball Final Four final game between Olympiacos Piraeus and Regal FC Barcelona in Paris over the weekend.
At least the Barcelona ‘ballers exercised some style restraint, opting to cheer on their club’s basketball team in official jerseys rather than attempting to outfit themselves in 1970′s hodgepodge.
And lastly, a blast from our F5 past graced us with his rarely-seen presence. Getafe footballer, Miguel Torres, gave the Masters clay court attendees another ensemble to think about. What’s that children’s chant? First is the worst – second is the best – third is the one with the open-button chest?
Burger King boy jokes aside, this is how all athletes should dress to impress when they’re navigating the mean streets that is the public domain.
