Cruz looks adorable in that photo, and I think Victoria looks gorgeous. Reading about the stupid prank that that City supporter played on Ryan put a smile on my (still tear-stained) face [see: TFO's comment about Giggsy considering retirement this summer]. Seriously, that City fan must have been about 12 years old. Cheesetastic and juvenile, but the United lads say that Ryan’s got a great sense of humour, so he probably had a good laugh at the photo op joke. I would agree that it’s a bit rude to take the piss out of someone as revered as Giggsy, regardless of team affiliation, but if the City fans have to stoop so low… [raises eyebrow and smirks]. P.S. I’m sorry, Ryan may be a Untied legend, but that doesn’t make the prank any less hilarious. If an Everton fan had done this to Ian Rush or Robbie Fowler, I’m sure you United ladies would see if differntly. It’s funny and I’d love to have seen it.
Considering that we ladies of the United thread are in a serious SERIOUS depression at the news that our beloved Giggsy may be hanging up his boots in May, I for one do not appreciate the City fan’s attempt at humour. Ryan is a truly classy man who deserves accolades from all true footy fans, regardless of affiliation.
Nevertheless, I may attempt this the next time I run into SWP.

The prank on Giggsy made me smile. Sure, it was juvenile, but at least it did not have any racist or homophobic references. That kind of humour is fine because I doubt that Giggsy was offended by it. He’s got a terrific sense of humour, he probably just laughed it off.
