LFC: Coming To A TV Near You?

If the producers are out there and reading this, may we kindly request more of this man? Image: PAUL ELLIS/AFP/Getty Images.

They’re in eighth place in the table, have put that cringeworthy issue behind them and now they’ve got their own reality TV show. Life is good.

Liverpool’s six-part docudrama, “Our Lives: As Sexy Beasts” “Our Liverpool: Never Walk Alone,” will air this autumn in the U.S., Fox Soccer announced yesterday. The network also said it’s the first time cameras will be permitted in the squad’s changing room at Anfield, which is incorrect since we’ve snuck back there ourselves, mobile video and camera devices in hand, once or twice before.

We hear the United Kingdom is not considered important enough to deem a viewing, but that decision surely needs to be reversed come air time, dontcha think Kickettes?

This is amazing! I can`t waiting to ask my Dish Tucson operators whether I can gain access to such programs myself, it would be an utter delight for late evenings at home.

Im kind of shocked to be honest. As a die-hard LFC fan since I was born with several Anfield trips under my belt and I kinda hoped the UK Kopites could have atleast seen this, considering how I have LFC TV as background noise all the time. Meh.
Guess this is John W. Henry's way of promoting LFC in the US? Oh well, the more the merrier. YNWA!!!

  7. Cherry says:

Looking forward to it. Not happy Fox is connected to it. But I'm American and a Liverpool supporter. Finally a reality tv show I'll actually watch.

Cherry–I agree. Why Fox? Ugh. Upper mgmt does not have their head on straight! I loathe television and never watch it, but this I would watch. Esp knowing that cameras will be permitted in the changing room! :-P There had better be lots of flesh shots!!

  8. eyebrow raised says:

Am I the only person who finds it a bit jaw dropping that LFC would allow FOX to profit off of them when FOX is owned by News Corporation, who also owns The Sun?

    • guest says:

BSkyB (company that owns Sky Sports) is partly owned by News Corporation, and Liverpool, being in the Premier League, have to work with Sky Sports so money ends up going to News Corp anyway. It's a lot more difficult than you think to avoid News Corp entirely as they have a finger in nearly every pot, and although it is extremely unfortunate that LFC are connected with them for this documentary, it is not unheard of.

YES!!!!!! Can't wait. I do understand that the inner sanctums of Anfield should be left to players and staff, but YES!@!!!!!!!!!!! So excited!!! I have been to Anfield only once(really need to fix that) but I love my Reds, and can't wait to get a more indepth glimpse into my team. Glad it's playing in the US—now to order a cable package!!!! Bring on the Stevie G!!!!!!

  10. Loninha - Brasil says:

A bad decision, because the locker rooms are for players and coaches not to fans or people who are just preocupadads with the personal lives of football players!
