Lille OSC: The Power Of The Mind

Right…there is a substantial amount of information to process in this photograph.
Which is why it has taken us five months to post it.
The contents of Adil Rami’s pretty pants, for example. The fact that a shirt with knee socks and no shorts combo is a tough look to pull off even if you have just led your team to a league title. Tulio De Melo’s razor sharp hip dips (we lost a good few months right there, to be honest).
But mostly we’ve been concentrating on Mathieu Debuchy’s red towel. It turns out that if five grown women sit round a computer screen for three days solid, stopping only for pee breaks and carb loading, the combined power of their wishing is not sufficient to make said towel disappear.
Still. It was definitely worth a try, don’t you think?
