Liverpool FC: Left Holding The Babies
Liverpool FC pay their annual visit to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. Under no other circumstances would this situation seem in any way normal. (Images via ontd_football)
It’s usually the end of the season when we are forced to ponder why men, (including those who we don’t normally find ourselves hankering over) look so much more appealing when paired with a cute baby.
Fortunately though, it’s becoming a tradition for footballers to hang out in children’s hospitals during the festive period and we have the opportunity to consider the subject all over again.
Take Liverpool FC. Excluding Nando (top), who regularly challenges the hormones of even the most resistant of Kickette staff, we are particularly noting how Lucas Leiva’s appeal has skyrocketed with the simple addition of a festive Santa hat and a cutey litte baby. Who knew?
Admittedly the same thing cannot be said about Raul Meireles, for whom the Santa hat merely contributes to his overall ‘escaped convict’ look. We’re also not entirely sure whether that sleeping baby will fully appreciate the contents of his or her Liverpool gift bag, but we appreciate the overall gesture, nonetheless.
Anyway. All is forgiven when casting one’s eyes over the outrageous loveliness that is Steven Gerrard in this photo. Do you feel the same? Or do your ovaries (real or imagined) remain unmoved by such rampaging cuteness?
