Lucky Escape: Breno, Bayern Munich

Images via

Bayern Munich defender Breno made a narrow escape from his home last night after he awoke to find flames raging around him.

Reports state that the player was uninjured, but kept in hospital for observation after suffering the effects of smoke inhalation. His wife and children were not in the house at the time.

Investigations are now taking place into how the fire may have started.

More pics after the jump.

Please join us and send your best wishes to Breno and his family.
