Married Men: Daniel Agger and Tim Cahill

Two Northern England-based footballers tied the knot this past weekend. Daniel Agger and Sofie Nelson were the first to say “I do” on Saturday morning in Hvidovre Kirke. No, your contact lenses aren’t drying out: both bride and groom wore white.
They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, unless your bridal party haphazardly overindulges in the styling products. Luckily, the Agger bridal party managed the crappy conditions with matching umbrellas.
During the nighttime reception, guests were treated to a surprise private concert with Lars H.U.G. in the Nimb Hotel’s wine cellar. Meeting the WAGtastic wedding pre-requisites, worse-for-wear guests abused the open bar policy, resulting in emergency medical assistance.
Nicklas Bendtner and Caroline Fleming missed the grand finale, though, opting to turn in early instead.
We think you should know that Caroline’s superb navy Chanel clutch made a repeat performance; Bendtner’s fly did not. At least Nicky exited this party with more grace than last week.
And from the looks of it, Mr. and Mrs. Agger took a cab home from their matriomonial festivities. Danny-boy rode shotgun. Hardly a romantic end to an otherwise fantastic evening, but who are we to judge?
Since the World Cup’s timing has managed to ruin holidays and honeymoons alike, the newlyweds are postponing their celebratory time together until after the Danish NT make their summer tournament run. The couple also share a one-year-old son together.

Readers new, old and Botoxed will be familiar with our crush-fest on Everton’s Tim Cahill. Will our feelings change now that he has tied the knot with his long-time gal, and mother to his three children, Rebekah Greenhill? (In Vegas, the place that makes our hearts feel pure, whole and good again, no less.)
No. We still want to jump his bones.
Details so far are that the wedding took place at the Bellagio Hotel with close friends and family – their children took part in the ceremony, and Tim was said to be emotional during the important bits.
FYI, on wifey he has said Rebekah is his “best mate, his everything.”
Tim is now heading back to his native Australia to do more push ups/prep for the World Cup. In attendance was team-mate cutie Phil Jagielka, and Kevin Kilbane and his wife.
