Married Men: Jesus Navas, Luka Modrić & Diego Lopez

Sevilla player & Spanish international, Jesus Navas, is officially off the market. Sad face.
Navas & his lady, Alejandra, tied the knot in their hometown in front of notable guests such as The Ramos™. Twitpic-happy Sergio even squeaked out a couple of pictures in between the ceremony and reception.
While the new Mrs Navas is quite the looker, this couple seems sooo young a.k.a. they better have a good pre-nup.

Luka and Vanja Modrić got married – again. This time, the ceremony was in a church. We believe Mrs M. bought her wedding dress at a quaint shop called Frump City.
The couple arranged this second wedding and party because Vanja’s unexpected pregnancy kinda/sorta put a dent in their original plans. From what one of our Croatian translators can glean from the original report, the wedding ambiance was on par with what would be seen and heard at a redneck wedding in the U.S. It wasn’t a classy shindig by any stretch of the imagination.
Still, the Modrićs know how to gather a crowd, and we think their list of attendees was a tad more impressive than the names who brought gifts to the intimate Navas affair (i.e. Slaven Bilić, Ognjen Vukojević, Zdravko Mamić – the executive manager of Dinamo Zagreb, Modric’s agent and his wife – who was scantily clad in bright blue & lace and Vedran Ćorluka dressed as a bus driver).

Finally, Villarreal goalkeeper, Diego Lopez, married his lady, 26-year-old Iria Otero Rodríguez, in the small village of Ponte Sampaio. She carried peonies down the aisle, which is what we plan to fill our bouquets with when we finally take the plunge. In case you care.
True to tradition, the groom arrived at the church with his mother, Lidia, but had to wait for Iria to show her face before he could head inside the church. In typical bridal style, Iria was 30 minutes late, but once she appeared before her hubby-to-be in a custom 
Lorenzo Caprile gown, Lopez said his legs were ‘shaking’ from nerves/excitement.
Distinguished footy men who came out to show their moral support were Alvaro Arbeloa (plus his wife), Santi Cazorla, Joan Capdevila and Borja Valero.

There were so many tacky women at Modric's wedding. Boobs spilling out of dresses, and very visible bums. You would never have thought it was a wedding the way some of them dressed.

A wedding that has probably takenlots and lots of months to prepare for? All sources said that he would complete the transfer after he got home from honeymoon, I'm sure if everything is agreed they can wait a week or so or wait with the honeymoon til after the deal is signed.

twitter rumours say it was because he had been seeing someone else behind his fiancee's back for 2 years. Who knows? But doesnt sound at all unlikely, he's a footballer after all

Just a reflection: I guess he can admit of thinking about sex now that he's married. I remember the interview before the WC when they asked the spanish players about sex and football. And Jesus simply stated that he was to religious to think about sex. Right. I guess the times are changing, huh

Jesus suffers from chronic homesickness. He rejected a move to Chelsea due to homesickness. And Ramos had to make him feel comfortable during WC 2010 cos he suffers from anxiety attacks every time he is away from his home for an extended period of time. Sad for him.
Sergio's such a good friend no? I've read that's he's also been in therapy for it. Either way, glad he was able to make it to the WC. What an amazing feat…on more than one account.
I know, he must have worked very hard with himself to overcome such a thing. And Ramos is a good friend.

Well it's very sad..since i spent the weekend eating chocolate after finding out this news </3 All these players are slowly getting off the market one.by.one..it's scaring me o_o anyways i cant do anything else but congratulate all these couples! Hope they stay happy and their marriages works out
