Mikel Arteta II Makes His Debut
Everton’s Mikel Arteta and his fiancée, Lorena have revealed the name of their new baby boy, born in San Sebastian on June 8. They’re calling him Mikel. No, it’s not terribly creative, but we like the traditional-style nod to daddy. Lorena’s post-baby glow is just plain lovely.

UPDATE: Word on the Everton site is contrary to initial reports, and says that the baby is named Gabriel. It’s listed as Mikel in several Spanish outlets, so we’ll keep you posted.
UPDATE 2: Their son is named Gabriel.

aww! can't really see mikel juniors face, though. cute they named it after the father, but would've liked something more creative =( ohh well, i'm sure hopefully it'll mean he's just as gorgeous as his dad in the future.
