Hey, mister, you’re looking rather fit in them jeans. Not sure about the flip flops, though. Kickettes: men in plastic shoes – yay or nay?

It’s been a warm summer in the UK, so I’ll give Obi Wan a pass here. Maybe get some that fit next time, baby? *Kiss*

No luv, you’re right. Yesterday’s hangover is still in effect obvs. We’ve seen it both ways too – and Chelsea just have him as "Mikel" on their site :)

The flip flops are disgusting. This would be a great outfit if he were wearing a nice clean pair of white sneakers.

Also, why are there so many variations of his name? I’ve always called him John Obi Mikel. Are the three names just interchangeable? Help.

Ah yes, the name situation. It confuses even us Chelsea supporters! lol So let’s go on and make it even MORE complicated shall we? His actual whole name is: John Michael Nchekwube Obinna. Obinna is apparently the name of the ethnic group his father belonged to in Nigeria and ‘Obi’ is the nickname for it. I think this makes Nchekwube his last name. Michael is apparently the actual first name he has always gone by but when he was playing in the FIFA Under 17s in, I think, 2003 Nigeria submitted his name as Mikel instead of Michael and he loved it so much he decided to keep it. He has said before that he wants to be called Mikel John Obi, so it’s his first name he’s wearing on his shirt then. Phew! At any rate, he’s a whole lot of pretty! And we can probably blame the unfortunate footwear on John Terry himself! It’s already rubbed off on Frank, and I see it’s spreading! Which of course, I think is just adorable! LOL
