Mr & Mrs: Raul Albiol & Alicia Roig

Always ones who have tons of time and tasks on our hands, we’re just now getting ’round to celebrating Raul Albiol’s recent nuptials. Don’t be shell-shocked; in order to live up to your expectations of us as loose – but incredibly fun – women, it would be bad form to promptly publish our posts.
Thus, we’re sending our cheeriest congratulations to recent GQ Spain interviewee and model an entire week after he finally put a ring on his lady/fellow GQ subject, Alicia Roig, in their hometown of Valencia. In our eyes, giving a gal her rightful, legal WAG rights is one of the best gifts a footballer can present to his loved one, second only to giving the gift of life two times over (back to back births, mind you).
The couple did a superb job of flexing their all star guest list muscles, with club and national team-mates Xabi Alonso and his wife, Nagore, and Alvaro Arbeloa and his wife Carlota Ruiz representing the ‘famous footballing faces’ crowd. As Albiol’s bestie, A.A. performed double duties last Friday by serving as both an open bar patron and a groomsman.
Funny/ironic moment of their special day: while they were both late to the ceremony due to unexpected car troubles, Alicia actually beat her husband-to-be to the knot-tying spot. Any guesses as to why the man of the hour was the very last person to arrive to his own wedding, savvy speculators?
Or, at minimum, can you humour us and comply with our request for feedback on Alicia’s golden apple and string of flowers bouquet?

I am a Barça girl, but I've no qualms about saying that Albiol is a very attractive guy. And I do like the bouquet! The bride looked great. Congrats to the happy couple.

Er, not trying to take the spotlight away from the bride, I say Alicia looks stunning in her Greek like dress. A+ for looking good and being punctual (and/or being earlier than Albiol).
Then there's no words to describe just how _____________ Xabi Alonso is. All exploded ovaries within a 90 mile radius of Xabi Alonso are beyond collateral.
The Valencia players was also invited, but they couldn't come, cause Dealbert was also getting married that day! xD ..Anyway, Albiol looks so handsome, and his wife is beautiful

Small things aside, it looks like a nice, fun wedding. Alicia's lovely face could have done with less makeup and having the hair swept off it, but she looks thrilled and maybe a bit smug (I don't blame her!) so whatever.
Also, it's nice to see that Spanish weddings don't apparently follow the American tradition of having bridesmaids wear fugly dresses, the dresses on the girls in the aisle behind R&A in the second pic look pretty and tasteful.
Congrats to the happy couple, they look adorable. I quite like what they're wearing, Raul looks v. dapper and Alicia's dress is v. pretty and graceful -it's neither fussy nor revealing, which is a big deal at WAG weddings. Even the apple bouquet is a pretty small quirk to fit the Greek theme, so no biggie.
Also, it's nice to see Xabi and Nagore again, they're hot as always (also, much appreciated is the sight of Carlota – she's so rarely papped and if Xabi is to be believed, she is the one responsible for the fact that Alvaro actually dresses decently, he looks like a stone fox in the pics).
The dress is by Lanvin IIRC. She looks AMAZING, so stylish.

unrelated (i guess you could stretch your imagination are arbeloa and xabi are former liverpool players and andy carroll is a current l'pool player), but i feel the need to bring the attention of the ever-witty kickette army to andy carroll's sartorial decisions at glastonbury- namely, his head scarve.. i never knew he had such a desire to be a 90 year old lady.

i think he looks awesome! he is young and likes to have fun and doesn't take life so seriously. plus, maybe he didn't want to be recognized, but seeing how much fuss he made among the ladies, the decisions to wear pretty colours in unusual places/body parts might backfire at him
and it was raining and he probably didn't want his pretty pony tail to get all frizzy and sh*t..
I kind of find it very tacky leaving your wedding to go pose in front of the paps, but that is just my opinion. I find it much more endearing when [wedding] photographers catch the bride and groom rushing out of the church, ducking from the rice (I think they throw rice at Spanish weddings?).
every single picture I've seen of Alicia's face, it looks like she's saying: "yeah b*tch, now he's mine!" haha… alright then! I think her eye makeup was a bit too heavy and the hairdo… mmm, no. Didn't like it. But overall, she looked really nice… and her Valencian prince charming, mmmm… niiiice!
I was going to say something about her hair and the makeup (MAINLY THE HAIR!), but thought it'd be too mean for her wedding post!! Hahaha but urrrgh, really don't like the hair.. :/

The combo if tux and sunnies is KILLING me. And you're totally right, he is a way underrated hottie. I also think he's an underrated player. All around he's awesome sauce – why do people not take more notice?
I already request for Kickette to include him in the H.o.F or finest five, agree! agree! he is one of personal fav players in Real, he has the HOT body with the handsome face, he is actually the complete package when it comes to footballer.
Alvaro is a fox, and seriously underrated among the Real/La Roja eye candy.

I like the apple, and the length of the bouquet. I have not seen something like that before, but i don't follow wedding fashion, so maybe there is a trend I am unaware of. She had the guts to walk out there with something a little different, and not tacky like a weird shoe or strange nail polish, and I give her props for that even if some designer gave her the idea. I actually love her whole look, the hair however was unfortunate. Who ever was in charge of the hairspray and pins should be fired.
all 3 couples are lucky to have each other. I hope they always find happiness in each other.
I think Albiol is a handsome guy, but I do not like the pants that he wore and the tie is too striking against his vest. The 'misses' is pretty but she should have toned down her eye makeup. It's like she pulled a Sara on her wedding day.
