Anyone else getting a little footy-wedding weary? What are we up to now, sixty, seventy-thousand already this summer?
Perhaps we’re feeling the strain because one of our favourite guys tied the knot over the weekend. Xabi Alonso married his girlfriend Nagore Aramburu, who just so happens to be the mother of his adorable son, Jon.
The wedding was held this weekend in San Sebastian, and there were over 200 guests on hand to celebrate.
Nagore was escorted down the aisle wearing a dress designed by Isabel Zapardiez which featured a veil/train as long as a dozen Mondays. (Yeah, we’re in an anti-work week sort of mood today.)
Footy guests included Mikel Arteta and his gal Lorena Bernal, and ex-Liverpool player Luis Garcia. Xabi (who it seems might be taking another big step this summer), was seen helping Nagore with her train throughout the festivities. Good man.

How cute is that 1st pic. Congrats to the happy couple- just make sure you come back to liverpool xabi. Not really feeling Lorena’s dress though. It’s a bit ‘trashy’ for a wedding especially as everyone else looks so classy.
