Hospitals across Europe have seen a lot of action over the last seven days. Warm wishes go to the following parents and their family and friends (whom we would hope purchased all the items from their baby registries). Here’s a quick update:
Juve keeper Gigi Buffon and his long-time gal Alena Seredova (pictured last month at her 2010 calendar launch) are the proud parents of another healthy baby boy. David Lee was delivered on Friday the 30th. David joins his brother Louis (and his delectably stern little bubba face) in the Buffon family.

Fabio Grosso’s wife Gessica gave birth to their second son, Giacomo last Monday. Not familiar with the Juventus/Italian NT defender? Here’s all you need to know: he’s comfy in his skivvies.

Ana Sofia and her hubby, Sporting Lisbon’s Joao Moutinho have welcomed a little girl named Lara. Baby and mom are happy and healthy even though Lara arrived weeks ahead of schedule.

And last, but certainly far from least: Real Madrid’s resident hottie Cristophe Metzelder has become a father. His ex-girlfriend Julia Gödecke had a little baby girl named Emma on October 17. As we’re all aware, there was a touch of baby-mama-drama surrounding this situation. In fact, Metze wasn’t there for the birth of his daughter. Was he busy getting a mani/pedi? Waiting for a paternity test? Damn it, where are the reality telly producers when you need them?
Christophe has declined to comment. Not so for Julia, who said that the two are in contact, she thinks he’ll be a loving father “in spite” of everything.” Let’s hope it all works out for baby Emma’s sake.
Please tell me Buffon’s baby is named after David Lee Roth. That would be AMAZING.
