Night Out: ‘Ballers Love Beyonce
Man City’s Joleon Lescott and his chica headed out to catch the Beyonce show at the Manchester Evening News Arena.

Also in attendance were Wayne, his brother, and wifey Coleen Rooney, Steven Gerrard and family and Lisa Carrick.
We’re all over Coleen’s fringe and so over Joleon’s denim.

That ensemble is unacceptable, Joleon Lescott.
*side eye*
I think she should if not stay home with Kai then focus on being healthy because she’s breastfeeding(but what do I know.I’m only 15..)
dont u guys think she’s trying a bit too hard not to get sucked into being one of those mothers who dont care about their appearances and/or socail lives??
otherwise,loving the fringe,shoes and dress.\
kickette, why don’t you have a pic of the Gerrards???
I don’t remember any fuss being made when claudine palmer ( robbie keane’s wag) was seen out on numerous occasions straight after having their baby. You don’t need to be with a baby 24/7 to bond with it. I’m sure the baby would have been in bed anyway seeing as the concert was in the evening so kai wouldn’t be missing out on any bonding time with his mum. I fail to see why so many people are getting so worked up about the fact she’s had a couple of nights out. Kai would have been well looked after by very willing grandparents who also need time to bond with their new grandchild. I wonder how many people here have had children? I’ve had 2 and it’s hard enough without having people judging you about the choices that a you make when it’s none of their business.
Other than that I think she looks great and I love her hair. Not loving lescotts jeans though- they need burning.
Please kickette, can we close this now.
Glad to see so many women here are the all-knowing mothers. Get a life people. She is a mother but also a young one, she has a loving family who are probably more than willing to look after Kai.
Let her go see Beyonce for crying out loud. We are not in control over her life and certainly not close enough to tell her to lock herself up with her baby and never come out untill he moves out. So really, back off and let her see Beyonce.
You're right, it's totally absurd to suggest that parents spend time with their 2 week old infant! I mean, what is this, 1890? We should all give birth and then go about our business like usual! Who cares about a baby?? Let him fend for himself! It's so much more important for us to just make sure we don't miss a minute of FUN! Let's all remember the most important thing in the world is OURSELVES. Screw the needs of anyone else, much less our own children!
Coleen looks like Kenneth Williams
HAHAHAAAAAAAA
Not this again.
I have children who are in their twenties. I breastfed them until they were toddlers. We had a family bed. We practiced "attachment parenting". All my friends parented their children with a similar philosophy of intense bonding. We were immersed in it. And you know what? Some of those children turned out fantastic and some are absolute trainwrecks. There are no guarantees.
Coleen comes from a good and loving family. She has a loving heart. You can see it in how she treats her disabled sister with tenderness and respect. She knows what love is. She doesn't need any lessons from any of you, or from me, on how to mother.
Heaven forbid the girls around this hood pop a sprog or two.
Spanx – bad
Night out -bad
Judgmental, much?
Geez.
I don't have kids but I do know that Mums do need a night out here and there. Gosh, Alex is out at it all the time but that's okay apparently. It's not 1950 when Mums were relegated to the kitchen 24/7.
Get with the times.
I agree Mums need a night out now and again but the kid's barely 2 weeks old and she's already been out twice (that we know of, could be more).
Like I said earlier I'm not judging her or calling her a bad mother as its not my place and I'm sure he is being looked after very well by her parents. I just think it's a bit early, but thats just my opinion.
Really? You're saying that modern times = Go out and party while you leave your newborn 2 week old at home? No one has said mums don't deserve a break, or that mums shouldn't enjoy themselves, but the baby is freaking 2 weeks old!! If you need this many breaks in 2 weeks, you're going to be struggling through the next 18 years!
And as far as judging, let's all be honest, this is a fun website where we all come to discuss and JUDGE footballers and wags. Including their clothes, hairstyles, lifestyles, etc. So let's everyone please not act like they don't make judgements. Ok, Kickette, had to get that off my chest. I'm done now, promise!
Personally, I don’t understand why anyone would want to see Beyonce in the first place.
beyonce is one of the most entertaining acts live (3rd highest grossing concert!) but it all depends on your musical tastes, but i wouldn’t want to see her 3 times in a sapce of few weeks (cause the only thing that changes is the venues, the concert is still the same)
I guess it's just that I don't like any of her music, at all.
shes got help form her parents to look after the baby, so she just wants to go out and enjoy herself. so what.
as for the shopping.lol.cant say im suprised!!
does Coleen knows what Spandex is for?
lucy, i don’t think she does, but i agree with the majority of the comments on here, if she has seen beyonce 3 times in a space of weeks, the surely the baby deserves a bit of time with mum not grandmum, and i read in an interview with OK, she went out and got tipsy, so if she’s breast feeding (as i would imagine) then should she really been out drinking? Ella thanks for answering!
OMG what is Lescott wearing! Horrible horrible.
If my husband had been away with work for 2 wseeks, I would want a night out with him – good on you Col. Go for it! They both know that Kai is just fine.
I would be more concerned if the show was suitable for a young girl – is it really PG. Also out that late, on a school night!
FTC- the concert isn’t that bad, i went to the birmingham leg, and it isn’t as bad as the Pussycat Dolls one, which Alex Gerrard took Lexie to, that one is really bad, given that PCD are a burlesque dancing group
ALEX IS HARDLY MOTHER OF THE YEAR IS SHE THO.
fair enough!
sorry caps was on ha
Not being funny, but Coleen’s just had a baby… why does she always appear to be out and about… my mate saw her shopping the other day in the trafford centre without the baby….. I don’t know about her but another one of my mates has just had a baby and has not been out yet as she finds it difficult leaving the baby- even with her mother. How is Coleen supposed to form an attachment if she’s never with the baby?
Coleen’s always said she was gonna settle down and be a full time mum, yes it looks like it!
My sentiments exactly. Glad I'm not alone this time. Her baby is only 2 weeks old and it's quite strange that she is so interested in jumping right back into her active social life as if nothing has changed. Having a child, for most people, is a life-altering experience, much cooler than a Beyonce concert or shopping! LOL!
I agree 100% …. yes by all means go out but two weeks after the birth whats the need? She needs time to bond with the baby, if she carries on going out then she's gonna have no bond with the baby, the baby will have more of a bond with the grandparents and nanny!
don’t like coleen’s dress, and how many times do you need to see beyone a year??? erm… quick question not insult, if coleen is drinking or getting tipsy, doesn’t that go to the baby through breast milk?
Yes, the alcohol would go through to the baby, unless you “pump and dump”. I have no idea obviously if she’s nursing or not, but typically if you are, it’s very hard to leave the baby so much in these early days b/c of engorgement and most newborns ‘cluster feed’ when they’re as young as Kai. So nursing moms feel like their baby is attached to their breast all the time for the first few weeks until they figure out a true feeding schedule and their bodies start producing the correct amount of milk. Sorry for all that info for a simple question! LOL!
I read in dailymail.co.uk, Alex and Stevie also there…
cheers – we updated!
Pictures of the Gerrards?
Just click http://www.dailymail.co.uk
you will find news and picture about them
Alex jacket is truly awful
alex looking bored, steven looking dense and lilly ella looking a bit erm simples – God i am guna get SLATED for that now arent i
Personally I can totally understand why Coleen would want to go and watch Beyonce instead of staying at home watching the baby, the only thing I can't understand is why she would want to take Wayne with her!?!
It was Wayne who wanted to start babies pronto, wasn't it? If he's not staying home to gaze at its blissful face, why should she?
BTW captions to pix in papers suggest both Gerrard girls were there, but looks like only the elder one to me, with a family friend/relative being mistaken for the other. God, how do I know these things? It's tragic, really. Off to clean oven.
"God, how do I know these things? It’s tragic, really. Off to clean oven."
Haha
Lamps was there as well I read.
Yes, he supposedly went with the new unacceptabl chickie
Are we gonna see his new 'love'?
I don't understand why she'd want to go to see the same concert twice in a week when she has a 2 week old baby at home. You'd think they'd want to spend as much time as possible with him :S
I'm not calling her a bad mother by the way, before anyone jumps on me
I’m not jumping on you – I just feel the same about her
Totally agree. Her priorities seem…a bit off. And for the record, I feel the same way about Wayne. I thought it was wierd that he went to work the day after his kid was born too. Most men take a few days atleast. Anyway, her hair and make-up do look great!
Portia I totally agree with you
Fair do’s she might like Beyonce but seeing the same concert 3 times especially when she’s just given birth seens strange to me
Ditto.
Coleen looks really cute, love the fringe on her
Hate Lescott's trainers and jeans!
Please let's not have a repeat of the "Coleen the Horrible Mother" discussion? Thank you.
Are you a moderator?? I think it’s okay for people to say what they want on this – shoot, if it was someone like Alex Gerrard we’d all be laying into her. I am Cols biggest fan out there and I think she should get a night out to herself definitely, but she also “should” be bonding with her baby. Of course, it’s none of our business what she does, we can still all yammer on about it – that’s half the fun!
As a Coleen fan, you may have caught the first round. That thread was shut down due to all of the "fun".
I don’t think people are necessarily saying she’s a ‘bad mother’, just that her baby is not even 3 weeks old and it’s unusual to see ‘most parents’ resume their social activities this soon after birth. (men and women) Obviously it’s her life and she can do what she chooses, but when you do things in the public eye, people (like us) are going to comment on it. As long as everyone is being respectful, I don’t see anything wrong with a little debate.
What's up with Lescott's jeans? didn't like at all.
Coleen looks great!! bless the Rooneys =D
