Night Out: Barcelona Boys At Cirque Du Soleil
On Friday eve, a few of the Barca boys headed out for some circus fun/frolics at the opening night of Cirque du Soleil’s ‘Varekai’ in Barcelona.
As you can see, Carles Puyol brought along his new gal, Malena Costa, while Xavi sported a sweater vest.
Also present were Leo Messi and his girlfriend, Antonella, who nearly had the end of their evening at the circus ruined by an over eager reporter. Luckily, Antonella’s hair made it out unscathed.

antonella is perfect, for some reason she kinda reminds me of a brunette Shakira ..it is a weird fantasy of mine that if i cant get a spanish footballer, i would love to see shakira with one..maybe pique (but hes MINE!)..btw its the last spain nt game of the whole year (sobs)

Antonella is so hot! Lucky Messi! I may be in the minority here but I don't think he's much of a looker.. No one's disputing he's a great footballer though. And Malena could do better than Puyol I reckon. Just my opinion ladies!
And I'm so sorry that I lured you into that. It's not that I do not understand brotherly love (I'm very close to my own family) it's just that in this case it seems that Lio is supporting them and they just go for a ride on his expense. It has also been implied from many other sources, so it's not just me who is getting this idea. But hey, what do I know? I just cant resist my cynical impulses sometimes

Nope, he just magically escapes the attention some of his teammates get. The occasional picture of him with a girlfriend turns up, but not often.

sorry but i completely disagree…i love the barca boys in their simple yet trendy look…the jense and tshirt look they sport most of the time more than does it for me…although i agree pedro here needs adjustment..

I really dont think that Puyol and that girl are a match. They look so mis match. She is like 11 or 12 years younger than him and for some reason she just doesnt seem to much into him, she might be with him now cause of the fame and perks that come from being a WAG. It seems just like a fling.
If the recent interview he did with Marie Claire Espana is any indication, I think Puyol's having a good time these days and enjoying himself after a few years of being not as happy as he might have been; no harm, no foul. She has a thing for older men, I think, but I don't think it means she's any less genuine–she just has good taste in men, haha. If they can make it work, good for them; she certainly seems to make him happy.
Let him have a fling if he wants one- as long as things are clear between them and he's happy, does it matter? It's not even as if a 10-year age gap is THAT big a deal to a 21/22-year-old model, he's only 32 after all.
i dont think she is that young, she looks 24 or 25 and he is 32…plus i think he is gorgeous and such a man and if what i read is right he has a heart made of gold…who wouldnt want to be with him…plus his eyes are more beautiful than sunset if you can see them upclose…

She might be perfectly nice (she's certainly gorgeous) but she just looks a little too serious or sullen here (perhaps it's a model pose thing). If I were there with him, I'd have a big huge grin on my face, sort of like Geri would. In fact, I am sort of a female Pique: a tall, blond, good-natured jokester. So naturally, he really belongs with me. Plus, I'd make sure the whole damn team was outfitted with decent jeans (solid dark rinse, no holes).

I LOOOOOOOVE Xavi and his harry potter style sweater!!!! I love that this men hangout together and with their gals and don't have to get drunk and crazy to have a good time, well not all the time, lol. Messi and Anto are adorable together, and some rumors says they will get married by the end of this year. Can you imagine little Messis running around. By the way there were pics of Messi being followed by a female reporter and Messi seemed to answered her questions while trying to leave her behind but she insisted and looked tired trying to keep up with him. I'm going to try to convince Pique to bring Xavi to the Vegas to see Cirque du Soleil so I can stalk them together…. oh darn, I just woke up and I was dreaming I was talking with Pique
Omg, baby Messis would be fantastic! And I'm glad that he has ditched his brothers and is going out with Antonella instead. Before you coldn't see a picture of Lio without is brothers stalking him. I don't know but I got the feeling that they were capitalizing on him.
And i can't wait until the day when little Xavis will see the light of day. I think that would do me in.
Really? I didn't know that about Messi's brothers but now that you mention it in last years awards Xavi took his family and his then gf and Messi was with one of his brothers. Found that a little weird because him and Anto have been together forever. Yes, their little ones will be adorable, beautiful and with a head full of gorgeous hair.
As for Xavi's babies… depends who has the strong genes, him or his future wife, but if I think Xavi has some strong genes like his dad and that kid if he is anything like Xavi will be beautiful. I have 4 ballers who I can't wait to see their offspring and besides Xavi, Messi, there Pique and Memo Ochoa. But I really would love to see Messi and Xavi with little girls because something tells me boys will be loved but their little girls will be the ones who steal their hearts.

Xavi and I have many things in common but clothes is one of the bigges… we kinda like nerdy but trendy, lol. That's what my sister call it. I love sweaters and sweater vests don't know why but I do, lol.
But I think I'm way shorter and short babies are so damn adorable!!! Just like Xavi swimming in his little tyke uniforms.

as for messi's brothers and family i disagree with you there…i think he comes from a place where families are really close, and so it is normal (i know bcoz i come from such a place too) plus being the kid who had to stay alone most of his life…his family kept an eye on him to make sure he stays on the right path and not go into drugs, girls etc like what happens to many other footballers and i think they did a good job, one of messi's best characters is his personality and discipline and they add to his genius on the pitch..plus i think he welcomed their attention coz he loves them so much and wld like to be with them…i can really relate to the whole situation…anyhow i love your comments and your name…:)

… But I had already seen this before it was posted here. I'm still happy to see him here though. He actually loves this and attends every year, probably some of the few things he actually prefers over catching up on the rest of the highlights regarding football, lol. I kept help to wonder if that thing around his neck is a backstage pass because Puyi and his gal aren't wearing one but some others are. I've never been to this type even just outside of one in Vegas but because I preferred the lion show didn't go see the human performance, lol. Seems fun though.
