Airplanes around Europe are trembling under the weight of hair gel and headphones right now as the national teams, fully prepared for battle, make their way to Poland and Ukraine. The staff at Galileo Galilei International in Pisa were on an especially high, Mario-Balotelli-is-in-the-building alert yesterday, but the striker seemed in a good mood and managed to get through customs without having any of his hats seized.

The ‘ballers from Deutschland, in what was by far the worst departure or arrival outfits we’ve seen, sashayed across Gdańsk Airport’s tarmac after disembarking yesterday, while Spain striker Fernando Llorente received a basket of bread on behalf of his international teammates upon arriving at their training base in Gniewino, Poland (also on Tuesday).
Finally, France touched down in Donetsk today, in plenty of time for their opener against England on Monday. Olivier Giroud wore shorts on the plane. It did nothing to dissuade us from the notion that he is always ready for action.
Let the improper thoughts continue unabated!

Ozil's days in Madrid with coaching and mentoring from Ronaldo and The Ramos have really made him quite the cutie.
I think Spain takes it for 'Most Dapper Arrival' although the Germans aren't too far behind. Although Giroud definitely put France in the running for 'Most Likely to get their kits torn clean off if ever in my presence' rawr!

I like the Germans' outfit. The colors are summery and the fabric is lightweight. I guess their jacket is made of linen. Love the taupe shoes too. Spain's and Italy's a bit too stuffy and France is too casual.
