Clip-on hair extensions are at the tippy top of our “Things We Find Gross” list.
Just so everyone knows where we stand on the matter.
Wedding Bells & Babies: Jay DeMerit and his girlfriend, professional skier Ashleigh McIver, got engaged on a few weeks back. Wedding date: TBD. Meanwhile just today we learned that Anders Lindegaard and his girlfriend, model Misse Beqiri, are expecting their first child together. Congrats to both!
Smooth Shillin’ Moves: Iker Casillas has been getting his grooming shill on for Philips again, this time using his beautiful, contoured face to promote their SensoTouch 3D shaving thingy (but wait – is that a subtle attempt at a strategic comb over… ?!) Fresh bragging rights are also being claimed at Old Trafford, where United have teamed up with Toshiba to build a medical facility so advanced, they will be able to predict which players are going to get injured before it actually happens.
Sonic Boom Ballack: Michael Ballack has been busted for speeding. The former Germany captain was reportedly doing 211 kph (131 mph) near Trujillo in Eastern Spain when he was apprehended by police. He will appear in front of a judge in due course.
Vulgar, Schmulgar: The Serbian FA have claimed that Danny Rose’s response to alleged monkey chants from Serbia fans during England’s U21 EURO 2013 qualification game was ”inappropriate, unsportsmanlike and vulgar”. If they think that’s inappropriate and vulgar, then they needn’t swing by the Kickette office as previously planned.
Robin van Persie & Co Partied With Prostitutes?: And that’s about enough of this week’s news, thankyouverymuch.
