Oh, Say Can You See: The 5 Hottest USA World Cup Footballers

The good ole US of A: they’ve brought us hot dogs, apple pie and some game that looks like cricket, (but totally isn’t).
And that’s not all! America also has the USMNT – a group who sailed through World Cup qualifying and impressed everyone in their runners-up showing in last summer’s Confederations Cup.
Let’s take a look at the glorious melting pot that is the five hottest fellas wearing the stars and stripes in South Africa this month:
Carlos Bocanegra
Captain America himself, and a long-time Kickette obsession, Bocamuffin simply must grace the top of this list. He’s been a favourite of ours since his days at Fulham and the delish Rennes defender has been the subject of our “Mmm” posts more times than we care to count.
Other plus points: Carlos appreciates fashion. (Or at least appreciates it enough to turn up and get a free suit out of a deal.) His status as the perfect man is a done deal – just as soon as we get word he has the ability to unwrap and feed us a Magnum in less then 10 seconds.
Benny Feilhaber
Brazilian-born Benny had us from the get go. See how well the AGF Aarhus midfielder has coordinated his jersey to his “yeah, you would” gorgeous blue eyes? He’s thinking of us, and our fash-needs Kickettes. We also know that Benny is not afraid to be silly. Nor does he appear to be afraid of webcams.
Note: A little more work with that there webcam, Benny, and you’ll be shortlisted for The Finest Five in no time.
Oguchi Onyewu
He has posed naked. More than once. We could just stop there.
For those grabbies that need more info, here you go: Gooch had a bit of a rough 09/10 season, appearing in only two matches with AC Milan before being side-lined with a nasty knee injury. Thankfully, he and his pectoral powers are on the South Africa A-List, and if the don’t F with me beard is anything to go by, he’s going to have a good tournament. If all else fails, it’s comforting to know he has a future as a nude model.
Tim Howard
The Everton keeper is a bit of an under-the-radar hottie, no? He fulfills all of the Kickette cute-list requirements: gorgeous smile, chocolatey bedroom eyes, a charitable side, and the ability to produce near-edible children.
Plus, we’ve got a thing about goalkeepers. And their gloves.
Stuart Holden
We couldn’t leave this list without a baby-faced hottie – that would be downright illegal. So, we give you Scottish-born Stu as our “innocent until we make him guilty” selection.
The Bolton midfielder also fulfills the the role of “dorky hottie”, as evidenced by this random photo of him shirtless on a beach with… Tropical birds. We have no idea either, but we don’t care. Look at his abs.

LOVE the USMNT and so many to choose from but Clint is just love. Stu is ridiculous but yes. Carlos, Carlos, Carlos. You have to listen to Spector speak!!! His accent is fab and he should be on the list. AGREED Benny & Howard have stunning eyes. Torres is such a cutie and Michael Bradley is fierce with that hard stare and attitude.
edson buddle is SEXY, straight up. and steve cherundolo is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute. adorable. too short to be hot, but cute nonetheless.

Considering i have lived in the usa most of my life and i have no idea who any of these guys are is not a shame to me. But whoa, benny failhaber is pretty damn cute.
My mother and I got rid of a ton of my clothing last week and now there's enough room in my closet for a Feilhaber shirt
Plus, I sleep alone in a queen-sized bed, so there's also enough room for a Feilhaber…

Edson Buddle and Maurice Edu are freakin gorgeous. I love Benny's eyes and Stuart Holden is just too cute. I love the whole team really. Gooch is a given. That man is FINE!!

Oguchi, Carlos anf Tim are my top favorite USA players. I'm hoping and praying that they and their fellow teammates perform well in their upcoming matches. Even if that means elimating England.

I really like this FF by country series. Good stuff.
I wonder (but doubt) if other FA's provide "inside looks" at the players like the USSF (US Soccer Fed) does, but sure would be interested to find out. Could make some interesting stalking material.
If you go to the ussoccer.com website and click on multimedia, there's something called Studio90 that includes some fun clips of the players talking casually with a reporter from their camp in South Africa. I mention this because there's one of Holden, and he seems as absolutely a-dork-able as he looks in that pic. He shows off the US game room and does a hilarious job "commentating" an EA vid game of Gooch and Edu playing Rangers vs Milan. Trivia: I never knew Gooch actually laughed until I saw it!
Bocanegra just does nothing for me…sorry. But Edson Buddle, hellllooooooooooo!!!!! *wink*
