On The Move: Robbie Keane Goes Green
Robbie Keane is off to Celtic for the rest of the season, on loan from Tottenham. Shame he decided to pack that jacket. Do you think it’s a good move for Keano?

Ah I hope Robbie finds some scoring form up there, the fans will warm to him immediately no question
My fave player, playing for the team i love .
Up The celts Hail Hail !!!!!!
Watch out for Artur Boruc, Robbie Keane. And good luck.
I have one question for Robbie Keane….exactly *how* many clubs did you “support as a kid”? LOL! But really, best of luck to him. I have always liked Robbie.
I am, however, amused by how much stick Rafa got for not playing him and then selling him (when he did in fact play quite a bit), when ‘Appy ‘Arry just turned around and did the same thing. But I’m sure he put an arm around his shoulder or something, so it’s all good.
Ha! I see I was not the first to wonder….well done The Guardian.
Robbie is a rockstar at Celtic already.
looks like he’s happy though. look at the crowd that came out in the cold!

Best of luck to Robbie! I hope he gets lots of time on the pitch.
Check out this hilarious “A (TRANSFER DEADLINE) DAY IN THE LIFE OF ROBERT DAVID KEANE (AGED 29)” in The Guardian: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/feb/02/the-fiver-robbie-keane-celtic
The entry for 5:45 pm is particularly funny!
CNB, thanks for that link! Hilarious!!!
Thanks, added!
At times like this, I really REALLY miss Special 1 TV.
If he's not getting time on the pitch with Spurs, it makes sense to ship him off elsewhere. Best of luck to him.
I agree about the Special 1 tv bit, that programme was genious but I’m a Rangers fan so not wishing him the best of luck.
There's only ONE Keano. But yes, it's a good move for Robbie and hopefully he'll find his scoring boots north of the border. Celtic fans are fantastic supporters and I'm sure they are delighted to welcome him for the rest of the season. It will certainly make watching Celtic games more interesting to watch, as some of their games have been absolute dross this season.
i clicked on 'comments' hoping to read these words – There’s only ONE Keano
thanks
Yes, and hopefully the chilly, Scottish weather will prompt Claudine to cover up a bit more. ; )
