If you can’t strip down to your shorts and take a pic with your teammates after advancing to the next round of World Cup qualifying action, then when can you, eh? Well done, USMNT.

The fellas beat Guatemala 3-1 in a come-from-behind win in Kansas City last night. The US will now go on to the so-called hex, which is the final group of six from CONCACAF to play for spots in Rio.

That’s far too much technical speak from us today. Let’s admire Geoff Cameron’s arms shall we? We’ll take a special hug from those any day. Also, we want to hug the fan who made the giant Clint Dempsey face and then proceeded to let him walk round the pitch with it. Bravo.

C-Ron’s 100th country cap was recognised prior to yesterday’s Portugal v North Ireland kick off. The gifts, made of velveteen, matched well with his abs.

Kudos, Crispy!

The referee wasn’t the only one to disbelieve the weather reports in Warsaw. Image: Michael Regan/Getty Images Europe.

Just to confirm, we weren’t in charge at the Polish National Stadium last night, we weren’t responsible for rendering the retractable roof  inoperable and that wasn’t one of our man slaves in a ref costume bumbling about pointlessly in the resulting swamp.

Although you would be forgiven for thinking it was, given the level of incompetence on display.
