New York Red Bulls player, Jan Gunnar Solli, has a flair for the turn tables, DJ-ing at night clubs in his spare time. Offering the Wall Street Journal a peek at his party playlist, here’s what he says gets the people going:

  1. “Spectrum (Say My Name)” by Florence + The Machine (Calvin Harris remix): “A super crowd pleaser,” said Mr. Solli.
  2. “Lies” by Burns (Otto Knows Remix): “There’s a lot of energy in this track, especially the cool synths.”
  3. “Don’t You Worry Child” by Swedish House Mafia: “Beautiful sing-along vocals over a fantastic drop. It’ll give you that goosebump feeling.”
  4. “Steel Eyes” by Benji (feat. Sherry St. Germain): “Listen to the sick break and how the guitar and Sherry’s voice just get under your skin.”

Players and their “passion projects”. You dig, Kickettes?

I’d thought about it for a long time. As I said, I feel a part of this club – and I feel a part of this city. I have been here so long now, so it was an easy decision.

I am proud to be here and I think my knuckles show that.

They do, Danny. Got the message, Mr Mancini?

Fabs attended UEFA Pro Licence Master classes earlier this week. We have no clue what he learned there, but we studied this pic for several hours, and can confirm that a blond tinted quiff does not inhibit our collective lust.

Useful to know.
