I am absolutely gutted! Guess the luck had to go Chelsea’s way sometime, but that was a whole lot of luck (the og, Skrtel’s injury, the offside goal, their pen, our pen that wasn’t given, Torre’s injury). Anyway here comes a sentance I never thought I’d say ‘Come on Man Utd!!‘. They will be worthy winners of the CL and I sincerly hope they do it for all you Red ladies on here.
I am still very sad, gonna take some special thigh’s to cheer me up!!

Thanks Mrs Redknapp. The commentators on RTE weren’t the best and kept wondering why he was taken off. They also couldn’t read the clock and kept saying the ref was playing into extra time on the extra time when it was actually only 26 mins gone. Wasters.
I don’t think I’ll be watching the final either. Can’t bear to see either team win.

To all of the lovely Liverpool ladies, I know that no matter what I say right now, it will not make the pain go away. I truly feel bad for all of you, for the boys, Rafa and all of the fans who were at Stinkford Bridge or watching the match elsewhere. In my opinion, the better team did not win. There, I said it. Apologies to all the Blues fans out there, but there is just something about Liverpool that pulls at the old heartstrings a wee bit. I am dreading meeting up with them in Moscow, not because I don’t think that the Red Devils can’t kick there asses, but because I am convinced that Roman will “buy” the match. I always like to see Liverpool do well (as long as it’s not at my team’s expense), and I know I would’ve enjoyed watching a United-Liverpool final immensely. I disgustedly turned off my tv after Chelsuck’s 4th goal, so didn’t see Babel’s goal. Was too disheartened to actually watch the final whistle blow on Liverpool’s hopes.
