I saw that rumour too lovelamps and i think i also read that his contract has a clause in it that says he can buy himelf out of it at the end of this season for what Chelsea originally paid for him – but im not 100% certain on that.
I think he might stay though epecially if his mum takes a while to recover and he wants to be near his family.

Moongirl, I was thinking the same thing about Frank. I had begun preparing myself for the possibility of his leaving (the rumours have always been there, but it suddenly seemed very real), but the one bit of hope I had was that he wouldn’t want to leave his family because I mean, his dad, and usually his mum, too are at all the home games, and Frank has said in interviews that he’s a real mummy’s boy, and then this illness happened, so all I could think was that maybe the bright side of it all will be that it helps Frank decide that he just cannot leave. (Holy run-on sentence! LOL) Add that to the fact that I just don’t believe he wants to go (and it would break my heart for him to be separated from John) and I’m back to being hopeful that he’ll stay. I’d love 15 minutes in a room with him to discuss this…okay maybe 2 minutes to discuss this and 13 minutes for other things! (To self: No! Must focus on what’s best for the team and not own personal lasciviousness issues. Discuss contract. Discuss contract.
