Pitter Patter: Dimitar Berbatov Becomes a Father

Dimi!You read that correctly. Berba is a papa. His girlfriend Elena gave birth in the early hours of this morning to a little girl.

Mom and baby are doing fine.

Good night all round for Dimi, as he was out on the pitch knocking in three goals for Bulgaria in their World Cup qualifier against Georgia.

We’re waiting on confirmation of the baby’s name – we’ve heard she’s been called Margarita, after Dimi’s mum, but we’ll keep you posted.

Congratulations to Dimitar and Elena!

Update: the baby has been named Dea.

    The Mysterious Tale of The Berbatov Pregnancy reaches it's denouement. This was one stealthy baller pregnancy. Jeez. There were no pics, no bumps, no sightings, and still the news kept coming. Very Nessie-like Congrats, and hopefully the baby inherited those big beautiful Berba-eyes.

    Yeah, FTC… Elena stays back in Bulgaria so I’m guessing that arrangement won’t change. At least Dimi will get some sleep!
