Pitter Patter: Kaka is a Papa
Kaka and Caroline’s bubba has finally arrived!
As just announced on the AC Milan website, Luca Celico Leite was born in the early hours of this morning weighing 3.6 kg (7.9 lbs). Mother and baby are doing fine.

8lbs seems a good, healthy weight – bigger babies are apparently more contented. I can vouch for that as one of mine was 8.4 and slept like a dream, whereas the other was 7.1 and screamed non-stop for 3 months. I hope baby Luca is healthy and happy.

Cheryl loves lamps, 8 pounds seems hefty to me too, but maybe someone who has had a baby can give an opinion on whether there is much difference in squeezing out a 6 pounder and an 8 pounder. Pain is pain.

Seven and a half pounds is average according to wiki. Had to look it up cuz mine was a biggun’ at 8lbs 11oz. And that was two weeks early! Most often bigger babies are just bigger, not fat and Kaka’s a fairly tall dude. Congrats to the happy couple. They’re still too squeaky clean for me to get excited about.
I know I was a ten pound whopper, and my brother even heavier… my poor mum.
