Product Shill: Iker Casillas Helps Launch… A Razor

Oh, the irony. Never mind, we all know Iker’s got the skillz to shill for the billz.

Btw, you saw his gal Pastasauce’s comment on Cristiano Ronaldo, right? (“… Ronaldo has always been, is and will always be individualistic and selfish on the field.”) Let’s assume that quote was taken out of context.

We’re off to buy 400 crates of razors! Iker said so; it shall be done.

UPDATE: Watch Sara Carbonero eat it at her Pantene event today.

UPDATE 2: Here’s the shot.

In fact, the less they have to do to prepare for their creative effort, the more they can concentrate on the actual creative process.

Folks discover the sentence structure portion is easy because the syntax tends not to be nearly as difficult in comparison to English language sentence structure.

  7. oil expeller says:

I dont even think Real Madrid has said anything. I think this is a publicity stunt his PR is using to get people to stop talking about Portugal getting kicked out of the world cup by Spain

  8. gossip girl says:

  9. gossip girl says:

ker is wonderful in every way a man can be.
I am totally, absolutely and irrevocably in love with him … with or without beard

  10. caitanya says:

is this off topic? no, it isn't, it's hot Iker: http://yfrog.com/evh0wgj just tweeted by arbeloa

  11. caitanya says:

This is great! Thanks for the link! I <3 gonzalo, iker & xavi forever. Anyone know what happened with esteban? He is conspicuous in his absence :-(

  12. Ash Menon says:

More power to the pasta. I find her outspoken nature and sheer courage outrageously attractive.

  13. Romina says:

i really like sara actually, she's a serious journalist, she's beautiful and not skank like material like irina!!!!

  14. Steph says:

I can't decide if I like him better with the beard or without it. lol. That pic, which I'm guessing is the ad, is hot though. :P

  15. Mrs.Navas says:

    this is so ironic. hahahaha

  16. Cordelia says:

god i'm so glad im not a man, the idea of shaving my face is alarming. Iker does it VERY well though ;)

    • Ash Menon says:

LOL, it's harmless, really. You nick yourself the first few times, but after a while it's smooth sailing, literally. Unless you use one of those old fashion barber's razors, in which case, stay away from me.

I would imagine a lady shaving her limbs would pretty much feel the same way?

      • Cordelia says:

haha yeah didnt help that i just watched demon barber of fleet street :S
yeah im ok with limbs but, I don't know, it just seems harder on your face because its like so close to you and the important features lol
yeah i probably sound like a muppet

  17. JulieFromParis says:

Yeah.. Because having a different opinion from yours about Sara automatically means youre a "fangirl" … One more thing we wont agree on tonight :)

  18. Dru says:

Owww, poor Sara falling to the floor! I'd sympathise with any woman who trips and falls, But I thought she handled it with good grace, laughing off the fall and everything- though the video is in poor taste, pointing out her knickers and all (so what, she had them on, isn't that a good thing?).

Also, in happier news: MORE STILLS OF IKER SHAVING (please sit down first, Kickettes, your knees will melt from the sexiness) http://unamadridista.wordpress.com/2010/09/24/i-c…

  19. Dahlia says:

San Iker *sigh*..you are the glow on my face and the butterflies in my stomach. 'nuf said. :)

  20. Kaya says:

Your comment made me laugh, in a very good way. Because I agree :)

  21. sheila says:

Beardless Iker is a win for all of us. Sara must be making him happy in ways we don't see…
As for The Selfish One… Anyone who actively watches a Real Madrid game with some knowledge of how to play the game will be able to say that CR has come a long way since his days at ManUnited. First, he is fast with the ball. His speed gives him open chances at net, and those should always be taken. Always. But he will actually look around and feed the ball very neatly onto other players feet or into open space, as well.
He just needs to keep the recent fancy footwork/ballhandling errors to a minimum. There have been quite a few of those. And the over-reaction (looking to the sky, shrugging shoulders, etc) gets tedious, too. He's still a very young man and will act accordingly. Let's see what the RM maturation process does for him… So let's keep the selfish play talk to a minimum. Even Higuain tried to tell us to shut up the other night after CR fed him a perfect cross that he put in net.

  22. Maria!! says:

well i just real that unfortunately mesut Oezil denied the rumors =(
i'm a huge CR fan & yeah he had been selfish lately but i think its better if she kept her mouth shut !

  23. MadameGourcuff says:

he looks so much better clean shaven

  24. Dru says:

Picture of Iker WITH SHAVING FOAM ON HIS FACE: http://unamadridista.wordpress.com/2010/09/23/ama…

    No kidding.

  25. Dru says:

I want to pinch Sergio Canales's cheeks! Seriously, Kickette should do a Baby Baller edition with him sometime, he's such a cutie- much like a young Nando, only with better hair (though I liked Nando's bleached locks c. Euro 2008, the boy went through some seriously awful hair times)

  26. @DebStimson says:

Anyone read some the suggested captions for CR's pic that he posted on twitter? http://www.whosay.com/CristianoRonaldo/content/25… This one is hilarious…

    Jane Beacher Skillman Sep 23
Selfish? This is what you call taking one for the team. How you like me now, Sara C.?

Okay…fess up Kickettes…it was one of you wasn't it? :p

  27. Aika says:

Ozil and Anna Maria broke up????? THIS IS HUGE!!!

  28. ninyac says:

As a fan of "CR7" I also say those things – that instead of shooting-on-sight-of-the-goal he should have passed. I also accuse him of being selfish and all that. But I am a fan. I am not a journalist or a TV personality. More so, I am not the girlfriend of the Captain of the team that Cristiano plays for. So my words don't have any implications or anything to the team. It would just come off as a rant.

P.S. When are you guys going to do the story about Özil and his break up? :p

  29. sleepyinsomniac says:

I am not a fan or Sara per se but I seriously feel bad for her. She started dating the captain of La Roja and all of a sudden she's not a real journalist. If this statement was leveled against her prior to her dating Iker then fine, it's always been a question whether or not she's a journalist or just a pretty face. But if she's paid her dues, busted her chops and she does her job and does it well, should it matter whether or not she's dating Iker or that she's a pretty face or that she's a model?

As for whether or not it was proper she commented for or against CRon consider he plays with Iker, it was damned if you do damned if you don't for her. If she said "no comment as my boyfriend plays with him", then it would put her integrity as a journalist into question as it means she can no longer be objective about football. If she commented but just all nice things then people would've accused her of saying those things just because CRon plays with Iker. If she answers honestly and says something negative in the process then people would damn her for it because she would make problems for Iker.

How people can be all like she shouldn't date Iker if she wants to be a journalist is confusing to me. Yeah Sara, deny your heart and love so you can be taken seriously. It's the only way… it's like living in the dark ages.

    • Dru says:

I agree with everything you said- this wouldn't even be an issue if she wasn't Iker's girlfriend. But she built her career, or at least began it and earned some level of fame before she began dating Iker- as a woman who's her exact age, it pisses me off that she's expected to choose one or the other. And as for getting ahead because of a pretty face- that's a common problem across all careers and for women in broadcast journalism in particular- I mean, she looks the way she does naturally, what is she supposed to do to get taken seriously? Make herself invisible? Stop dating Iker? It's all a bit silly, really. But I bet we'll forget about it anyway by the next time an English footballer has a skank scandal (I admit it, I'm cynical).

    • Kaya says:

I honestly think Sara is smart, and she should have known/anticipated/expected these kinds of reactions once she said YES to Iker (or however they came to a relationship) but it must be a little horrifying to see what people made her out to be JUST BECAUSE she started dating him. I feel bad for her most of the time. Of course Iker can do no wrong in anyone's eyes, per the norm, so any problem connected to him; the blame almost automatically falls on Sara. I MEAN, whut.

Apparently whatever she does with her life, it's wrong. Even the way she dresses.

Well, sticking by her side in this situation (and for the most) actually. If Iker's happy, then I'm happy. Not seriously deluding myself he'd find me in my place and marry me and live happily ever after.

  30. Pique_Xavi says:

Well that video is just one more reason to talk about Sara and its not to talk about her journalism achievements. I feel bad for her. Not just because of the video but September hasn't been her month. Its almost over Sara. But I still feel that her wording could have been better as I get what she was trying to say but it came out wrong through the tv and that paper clipping. And for that person who said that Kickette shouldn't have spread the news about it I only learned of it because you mentioned it. So now there's three of us who went along with it.

  31. Leya_S says:

    Why is this so cute?!?!?!
    I love it!

Umm, blonde kid? Who's that? He's adorbs!

  32. Mrs. Humphreys says:

    Iker! Mmmm…. I'm speechless, he's just so.. mmmm… :)
    With or without the beard.
As for Pastasauce, I'm beginning to like her now.

  33. zztop says:

that video of her tripping is nasty and misogynistic and I am disappointed Kickette has linked to it.

Really? Including a freeze frame with a red circle over her crotch? Really Kickette? Even if you didn't make the video, helping it go viral doesn't do much for women. Who hasn't fallen over before?

    • Leya_S says:

I don't know, I kind of thought it was more like, "See, she's a normal person who occasionally trips over her Barbie heels in public" kind of post…I could just be naive…*shrug*

    • Lotte (Zlatanista) says:

I agree with you zztop, it is a bit low.

    • Dru says:

I agree, the whole circle-at-her-ladyparts was so unnecessary, and in such bad taste to link it. If anything, I like her for laughing off the fact that she tripped, so if the point of this was to make me a Pasta hater it's not really working (I'm still keeping up the chant: as long as Iker's happy…)

    • Ash Menon says:

Totally agreeing with you. I think she handled it rather well, and the author of the video REALLY needs to get laid.

On the bright side, that video led me to this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCDRTLD20_E&NR…

"Pastasauce" now has a whole new dirty meaning in my head.

  34. D0li says:

OMG I was just about to post that video (http://momento24.com/en/2010/09/23/the-shameful-fall-of-casillas%E2%80%99-girlfriend/)

I think CR was trying to get payback.. anyone agree?

  35. D0li says:

Does anyone know Iker's response in english?

    • Leya_S says:

Roughly translated (and I mean very roughly bc I don't actually know how good my Spanish is):

"Cristiano is a fantastic person and isn't selfish in a bad sense, but he's selfish because he wants to do the best possible, because he wants to score goals. He's selfish because he always wants to win and its a selfishness that infects all of us."

Any native Spanish speakers, feel free to correct me. <3

  36. Robin says:

Did you see the latest interview with Iker on RealMadrid.com? He is quoted as saying ""Cristiano Ronaldo is a fantastic person and a great teammate. We share the goal of playing hard and winning matches. He isn't selfish at all. All he wants is to score a lot of goals." Clearly throwing his support behind CR7 and discounting his gf. Maybe it is the beginning of the end :)

  37. Kc95 says:

I love how this woman is always running around saying things like "I am first and foremost a journalist" or "I put my career first." I don't mind Pastasauce, and of course I envy her boy and body, but she's getting damn cocky. She and Cristiano are to busy running around in front of camera's to remember that they have jobs. So lets get this straight.

    Cristiano=Madrids Star Striker Pastasauce=TV reporter

They both have big egos, and I'm starting to dislike both of them.

  38. sidney says:

Look in that video ahow cris and Iker are sitting .Body language says a lot. They are not even acknowledging each other.
That look does not suit him, he looks so much better with facial hair.

  39. Kaya says:

Well actually, after Sara initially released her statement and created its first wave of disaster, she was interviewed again, where she actually defended herself where she said that the statement was taken out of context. Which was most probably the case.

Sara meant what Iker meant in his "defending" statement anyway, that CRon has that good kind of selfish because his "egoistic" play on the field is advantageous to the club. She just stated her opinion with most likely the wrong choice of words. Mourinho agrees with her, the commentators agree with her and some fans of CRon (like me) can actually see what she means. It's because the title "Iker's gf" rather than "journalist" makes her opinion seemingly important. If someone else had said this, I doubt it would even reach Kickette.

In a way, though, Iker should've just shut up because Sara cleared the controversy herself, and now it has "reopened". Mmhmmm. But it's cute he stood up for her.

Frankly, I'm kind of bummed the way people just jump into conclusions about the whole story without knowing how it all went down first. I do love the girl and the only mistake she probably did in her whole life was not being able to resist this clean-shaven beauty when he pursued her.

IKER FEELS DIFFERENT WITHOUT THE BEARD, btw.

    • steph says:

I agree with what you say but the only reason Iker said anything was because they asked him. And of course, they asked him because she is his gf.

    • D.J says:

it doesnt take a genius to figure out that if she as the captain's gf makes a comment about his team mate there will be problems. it doesnt matter f she's a journalist or not, it was a poor decision on her part. even i think that cris is a selfish player but was anyone complaining when he was playing selfishly last season? NO. he's had a few average games for cristiano ronaldo (he scored twice in the last two games) because of his injury, not settling in yet, selfish nature etc but its the beginning of the season and its unfair to make such statements. Im going off topic here, but my point is that the fact that she's dating iker makes her lose credibility as a journalist in my eyes, you can have your own opinion of course.

    • D0li says:

I think she pressured him to say something because she was getting so much backlash… the timing was off but I'm guessing he was pressured to say something. I'm more interested in knowing what the new choach Joe is saying.. especially since he's trying to turn them into a family.

  40. C16 says:

Come on!!! I love my Iker with beard! He looks SO manly!!!
    Doesn't matter, he's gorgeous!

Oh, Sara Pastasauce. Those comments were unnecesary. Yeah, it's her job and all, and it's true but NOOOO!

  41. Zinny says:

Uhh…what is breathing? Seriously. Is heaven full of angels who look like Iker Casillas?
This man, I swear. He's rendered me incoherent. Pasta is a lucky chica.

Speaking of, that's a bit unprofessional for someone's who's a reporter. I mean, I'm a cule and I talk trash on Madrid (I respect them as individual players but hey) all the the time but I think it's a little different for her as a public figure, no? Or am I just being a hippocrate?

  42. HiL says:

    Irony XD
Too bad, i actually liked his beard. (And Xabi Alonso's btw)

    • Emme says:

totally agree with you! I am glad to see somebody else actually thinking that Xabi Alonso's beard was quite nice! Now that Iker is shilling razors, I suppose all of Real Madrid is going to have to stay clean shaven & that would be very, very, bad :)

  43. @DebStimson says:

LOVED it! Marcello looked like he was having a blast, didn't he? Well, the guys overall seemed to be enjoying it. How fun!

  44. IrishBlue says:

Oh Iker got a razor! Just please for the love of god keep using it

  45. Lotte (Zlatanista) says:

I was thinking, maybe pastasuce is a Barca spy with a mission to destroy Los blancos from the inside? Divide and conquer has been a successful method in the past, as well as using a beautiful agent.

Anyway, i like Iker with beard.

  46. MissTorres says:

Wow he looks so cool and relaxed. Yeah man xD

  47. Dru says:

I must be one of the few girls on this planet who actually likes Bearded Iker (though I prefer him clean-shaven), the face fuzz makes him look like something out of a Goya painting of one of those old-timey aristocrats.

I don't envy Pasta – she didn't say anything that wasn't true, CRon is a ball-hogger on the field all right, even if he does make lots of shots on goal. Though I honestly hope the rumour that Iker started dating her after making a bet with Crispy to see who could, er, woo her first, isn't true- everything would take on a rather….interesting, shall we say, tinge if it did (for my part, I don't believe it at all- Iker doesn't seem the type who'd make bets to land a girl)

    • JVD says:

Iker goes from an 8.5 to a 6 on my scale every time he shaves. Still love you though, Iker.

As for his girlfriends comments… she. is. right. He is one of the most selfish, ball hogging, me first players on the planet. Just look at his dust up with Gonzalo last season about not passing him the ball. I say this as a Barca fan who adores him (physically anyway) and his mastery with the ball he hogs. Iker's comments about her comments… well, he needs to get better at saying a lot without saying anything at all. Cesc is great at it so maybe he can help.

And LOL if that rumor has even a modicum of truth to it.

  48. sidney says:

Sorry ,but he should have keep his mouth shut. The comment that Sara made was in part controversial because it seems thats what Iker was thinking too and his comments today prove that.I would like to be a fly on the wall to see what they say to each other in the locker room(cristiano et Iker). And because of her, that puts the whole team uncomfortable and maybe will create some camps. Why does she feels the need to make that comment as she knows him(She should be impartial and as a "journalist" she should have known better. Now it makes people question her credibility).

    • Steph says:

hmm I think they're big boys, they can handle themselves. There will be no drama. CR knows she is a journalist and it's her job to say something. What Iker said was right about him. Mourinho said the same thing about CR. That he is selfish but a good selfish. I don't see why he needs to keep his mouth shut :

      • Dru says:

I agree, they're big boys and Sara didn't say anything that

        a) hasn't been said before, by Mourinho no less
        b) isn't true. CRon is a gifted player all right, he's just also very into keeping the ball to himself.

It's just another big fuss over nothing, IMHO. Just a way to pass the time until another English footballer does something skanky (I'm so cynical now) and there's actually something for us to be mad about.

        • Kaya says:

I really like your view in the situation because it seems similar to mine! LOL But yeah. TOTALLY AGREE with most of your comments.

This really shouldn't be a big deal. If freaking COACH THE SPECIAL ONE JOSE MOURINHO said the same thing, I don't see why Sara needs to be crucified (other than the obvious reasons aka because she's dating Iker). Fangirls will always be fangirls.

  49. CRONlover says:

Sara Pastasauce is such a bitch.

    • D0li says:

LMFAO! OMG I COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING!

    • Simone says:

      I agree

    • Pique_Xavi says:

Not a RM fan, NOT a CR fan either but I totally understand you. And I'm sure you didn't meant it as a joke but it made me laugh how you went straight to your point! Hope your message doesn't get erased!

      • D0li says:

I hope it doesn't either because it cracks me up whenever I read it! What else has she done to make people think so negatively of her… well besides the fact that she is dating Iker.

  50. senora ramos says:

hey stranger!!! hope you had a fun, and not very stressful work during the cup!! we've missed you!!

and thea, i know you and the havoc, lol! and molls is a couple of months away from the baby,so i'm sure she's super busy right now!

    • Trisha says:

Hetysweety. Really did have fun! Met some amazing people from all over the world. Was a truly awesome exxperience. I think our country suprised alot of people. Missed you guys too.

    • Trisha says:

Hey sweety. It was a truly awesome experience. Met some amazing people from all over the world. Missed you guys too. Think our country suprised alot of people.

    • thea says:

She should never be busy for us – you always need to find time for your virtual life!! he he. Just resubcriibed to SKY after being away so will be watching all La Liga games at weekends. Need the distraction as BF p*ssed off with someone else whilst I was working my butt of in Dubai!

      • senora ramos says:

glad you had such an amazing experience trisha!!
thea, lol! i know, right? never too busy for us!!
what a pri…well, you know. he didn't deserve you anyways!! i'll be watching the replay on sun b/c i have college football and tailgating on sat during the match. but just let the gorgeous men on the pitch take your mind off of the unworthy :D

      • Trisha says:

Sorry to hear that. Well, obviously he is an idiot for not being faithful. Dont worry you will get someone better like my soon to be Iker, when he realizes Pasta is an idiot too and leaves her for me. ;-) ahhhh….The virtual life.. how wonderful!

        • thea says:

Lot to be said for the virtul life…. El classico on the 28th of November and I going to it!!!! Make a stop in Spain on the way back from working the Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi and spending all the money i'll make in te process – has to be done!

          • senora ramos says:

soooooooooo jealous right now!!! i'm just hoping to make a match in madrid one day, much less el clasico!!
hope you have a good time, but a bad match ;)

          • thea says:

Gotta keep myself in check, am okay in Barcelona, but tend to cause a bit of a riot when I'm in Madrid!

  51. thea says:

Welcome back Trisha, I thought that you had abandoned us post world cup – Boy have I missed you! Knew the Iker post would bring us all back together… now where's Molly???

  52. Eebza says:

am i the only who agrees with sara??

*dodges bullets from the legions following c-ron*

    • @DebStimson says:

No, he can be very selfish on the field. Even the commentators were commenting on that during the last RM match. Although, I have to admit, I don't know if I'd give up a shot to pass it to Higuain, who's had a rough couple of games, imo. The problem is, she, being the gf of Iker, Cris' teammate, should not have said that. I mean say it to Iker in private…fine…but to say it publicly? Not cool and as other's have mentioned it will create problems in the lockerroom.

      • Eebza says:

yes. very true. its bad, coz she is iker's gf…. that was lame on her part. tension is not cool.

      • JulieFromParis says:

Agree with u , this is not a matter of Cris being selfish or not, this is a matter of Miss Carbonero realizing those kind of statements are a bit out of place from her. Of course, she can tell her mind but this was not very smart….

        • MadridistaJenn says:

Her assessment is pretty accurate. If it came from any other commentator (man, woman or monkey) it wouldn't be a big deal, but it sounds weird coming from the captain's girlfriend. She should probably resign as Iker's girlfriend, no?

        • Sergo says:

I think she has the right to say whatever she wants. She is a professional and everyone agrees with her anyway.

          • JulieFromParis says:

Again, this is not a matter of speaking your mind, it's a matter of wrapping things up a bit… Life's sometimes about right timing, tact, or keeping your mouth shut on some things for your beloved ones' sake.

          • Pique_Xavi says:

Sorry to butt in Sergo, but its more like she agrees with everybody else because I heard about this in the WC and Portugal. And yes, she has a professional right but she could have been a little more of a professional on the way she worded it IMO.

    • beri says:

no dear…I agree wuth her as well!

    • LaBrithside says:

No, I agree with you. The guy is selfish, was it during his United time as well and will never chance. It is his attitude. Go Sara!

    • Steph says:

No, you're not the only one. I think that the only reason she's getting so much heat for it is cause she's Iker's gf, but she IS a sports journalist. Besides, it's not like Sara's the first one to say this.

  53. Pique_Xavi says:

Well I'm not a Iker drooler but I don't mind seeing, lusting, observing any of the spanish men when available with that said, I prefer him with the beard. As for Pastasauce as a journalist you gotta inform your story, not so much your opinion no matter where you live, who you date, or who you know on a personal level the key is to use the right words. Its guess if you're in the journalist world even the things you comment in your daily life can be turn into something you're "reporting". But I don't know when she said that or if its some report she was doing. I feel for Iker though, his love RM and/or his other love Pastasauce? Tough times ahead relationshipwise.

      • Pique_Xavi says:

Holly cow! I take it back, she sounds to me to be a little too into RM. That's not what a journalist should be like no matter what you're covering. Sports specially can be tough for women. Although the other ladies seem to hurt her cause of being a legit journalist as one brought up Iker when he wasn't really the topic. Also, I know people, women on here specially are going to hate me for this but that "report" sounded more like a gossip show. Its only a part but it felt odd to me. Maybe I'm judging too hard because I'm use to women in sports wearing blazers with their company logos on them. I'm not talking about American reporters either. Maybe each country sees things differently. Can someone please explain to me if there is a difference between a correspondece person and a journalist?

Maybe just me but there is no such thing as "good selfish" Iker, sorry. Maybe you should let your gal defend her work all by herself. No need for you to lose the respect of your teammates.

        • Leya_S says:

I hadn't actually seen this up until now, but, umm, even in my limited understanding of Spanish, i totally agree with you; my first thought was "Are they talking objectively about this game (the Messi/Ujfalusi conflict), or just gossiping with the girls?" And then she was giving opinions on Real and how she really likes Jose, and how he worries about the players, but how CR7 is such a selfish player. (Can someone tell me more about what she said, bc I couldn't catch all of it…I heard something about Portugal in there and some other stuff…Thanks!) I thought I was watching The View.

Although the headlines of that article "Ronaldo, 41 shots, 0 goals"…ouch. I hadn't realized it was that bad. I'm not a CR7 lover, but you gotta feel bad for the kid at some point. He's still a person, and I know somewhere deep down in that super-tanned, rock-hard, chiseled, Greek-God of a body, he has feelings, too.

          • Pique_Xavi says:

1.) Well let's see… I don't know how long this show was but it begins as Sara was in fact talking about that Messi/Ujfalusi incident. Because many were wondering as to why the referee had shown him the red card directly instead of taking out the second yellow since he had one yellow. Some people were saying that it should have been a second yellow which would of meant the red. Sara talks that it was directly a red since you can see that the player went hard on Messi's ankle and you could see how by how swollen it gotten and how the player's foot took hit on it (of course in the vid you don't see that only in the stills of it).

She says she likes Jose, she says that it wasn't true that CR was or is talking to a psychologist like it had been reporter that: 'selfish comment inserted here'. Commented that Jose wanted to work with the players and their problems and then the lady on her right asked what kind of problems does RM captain have… she bows down and says 'he has no problems he's fine' or something to that effect. She talked about how Pep was mad about the whole situation.

Saw the video a while ago and did this by memorie so if I miss something you'll like to know be sure to ask :)

            • Kaya says:

then the lady on her right asked what kind of problems does RM captain have… she bows down and says 'he has no problems he's fine' or something to that effect.

^^^ So uhm, the lady actually asked her about Iker?

              • Pique_Xavi says:

Yes she did. We all do things that are don't come out right and as for Sara and I'm not defending but that lady did it to get that reaction from her. I honestly can say I feel sorry or bad for her on a professional level but in a more "personal way". She's a grown woman making decisions that make her happy she just had to deal with the gossip as best she can.

  54. BarceLisa says:

Ronaldo is selfish and individualistic? Way to rock the boat Pastasauce.

  55. senora ramos says:

booo. am i the only one who doesn't like clean shaven iker? apparently so.

    and sara dear, stfu. seriously.

    • thea says:

Well Ramos – you know me, anything that has the potential to cause havoc in the RM dressing room, I'm there!!!

      • Trisha says:

Hey, Thea and Ramos…. whats new besides Iker shaving his sexy beard? Now I cant be Trisha (Mrs Iker Casillas) …. says my name is too long… how irritating is that!

    • JulieFromParis says:

i don't like when he's shaven either. And I don't like pastasauce dropping clangers . And i don't like how Iker just sat on the fence to save her neck with that stupid statement about how Ronaldo was "good" selfish even if I can understand why he did so.

      • Trisha says:

Iker is going to have alot of explaining to do if they carry on like that as a couple. He needs to be neutral with his team at times.

        • JulieFromParis says:

She needs to keep a low profile, end of the story.

          • thea says:

am really not liking pastaface – hard as I try and just have this nagging feeling its a strange situation…. but they keep surviving so who knows ??!!!?? Wouldn't she be better moving to main stream TV?

            • Trisha says:

As far as im concerned, she would be better off moving to another planet… lol. I really dont like her and if she continues to behave in this fashion, she is going to ruin everything for Iker!

              • thea says:

Think he's a fool in love…………and she's got English Speaking press attention so far as well as a Patene advert!

            • JulieFromParis says:

Of course they'll survive to it. But I guess she could easily do her job well without putting her foot in it like she did.

          • Lotte (Zlatanista) says:

I wonder if all the attention she´s got has made her delusional. Maybe she really believes she´s untouchable and that she can get away with stuff like that?

      • senora ramos says:

i can't believe he said that. wtf iker, you know better than that. you're the capitan. i mean we all know cron's overly selfish, but you don't call out your damn teammate. i wonder if mou will throw a water bottle at iker

        • JulieFromParis says:

Haaa, or maybe he'll thunder him with a Mou-ism like the one to Dimaria some weeks ago, quote : "You, wake up, you're making me look bad!" :) TIme to wake up from the honeymoon Captain!!

          • Trisha says:

Hahaha…. wish he could miss and the bottle hit the reporter girlfriend! lol

            • thea says:

Well the Brits have a saying, new broom sweeps clean. I'd say that as they are paying MOU big bucks for big results (they are dilusional BTW) and I would say that all players are potentially in danger of being shipped on to other clubs.

    • @DebStimson says:

I like the beard too…it just needed a little "cleaning up". Or maybe he was letting it grow for the commercial?

    • Eebza says:

      oh no.
      definitely not.
      i hate this 'clean' iker.
      no man.

but methinks sara was on point with her comments. on point.

    • Leya_S says:

      thank you for that!
      seriously!
I laughed out loud at the "and sara dear, stfu. seriously."

  56. Missy Manchester says:

    I wonder why he's holding the razor…there.

  57. keikoreo says:

LAAAAAAAAAME. Iker's gonna walk into the locker room and have the whole team scowling at him. "Thanks for clearing that up, Casillas. Now we're Real Madrid: the most selfish team in La Liga. Goody!"

    • JulieFromParis says:

Im not too happy about all this but u made me laugh, thank u.

    • Elle says:

I'm sorry but why would they complain about him calling them selfish? He was specifically talking about CR and in a good way. Even Mou has said the same thing about Cris. So did his fans.

      • D.J says:

its not good because of the context. sara, iker's gf said ronaldo was a selfish player and iker basically said the same thing, so it looks like sara was actually saying what iker thought and as captain of the team saying something like that about a team mate is rude.

  58. Niina says:

I read this elsewhere, and was actually waiting for a Kickette review ;) Well delivered! But I gotta say, I was kind of into the beard. I like my men rough and rugged, now he looks too gooood and clean…

You've all seen the ad, right? http://www.europapress.es/chance/belleza/noticia-…

  59. MrsNesta says:

    Hello there Thea :)
Not sure how it will go down lol but I might be buying some razors :)

  60. LosAngeleno says:

Oh man, Higuaín! Can someone please steal his DNA and clone more of him….oh yeah, sorry…and the rest of them look good, too. Thanks for the link.

    • MadridistaJenn says:

Gonza!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, that man! That photoshot put him one point above The Ramos (your move Ramos). He needs more Kickette posts dedicated to his beautiful eyes, smile, those massive thighs……sorry, I've gone too far. Nonetheless, who do we need to see to get more Higuaín!?!?

      • LosAngeleno says:

And seeing GH playing with the Ramos' hair was just too much (there should have been 5 mins. of that alone). Would make a far better Pantene advert, in my opinion.

        • MadridistaJenn says:

The Ramos+Higuaín=Kaboom! Pantene needs Sergio and Higuaín (more than Pastasauce). Add water, shampoo, and subtract the shirts……That's it, I'm writing a passionate letter for more Gonza coverage and one for a Pantene men's line!

  61. Marie says:

he looks so young and adorable!!!
(a confession: of all the things i can imagine doing to iker, pinching his cheeks is the top most!! weird)

  63. Maribel says:

Wow, Sara. Way to lose even more integrity as an unbiased "journalist".

  64. aps says:

how cute when ronaldo stopped the cameraman to sneeze. Thx for this.

  65. @Lyandra says:

Not only did Phillips get him to shave, they also got him to dress well. I think I'll be supporting their products just for that. San Iker doesn't have much of a sartorial sense normally.

  66. LoseThatGirl says:

Oh to be that razor in that firm, manly grip…..

  67. D0li says:

AGH I think it was inappropriate for he to comment on Cristiano considering her bf plays for the team. MAybe I'm wrong but I think it will cause unneccessary controversy between her, Iker and Cristiano… especially considering that the new coach is trying to get them to be more like a family.

During times like this, silence makes you look wise than talking.

    • Maribel says:

Agree with you 100%. She continues to prove she is not a professional journalist in any way. And it's never appropriate to comment on your bf's teammates – even if you're not a journalist. What if Alex was talking smack about Nando being injured all the time or something? It's completely inappropriate!

      • D0li says:

looking at all the newier posts everyone seems to hate her! Well I have to disagree with you on the commenting on team mates especially with Nando as I was completely upset as to how he played during the world cup. I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut as I was 200% happy that he was left off the field during the last two matches.

But knowing CR's ego he is not going to like how the situation was handled, not one bit! And I can't speak spanish so i have no idea what Iker's response was.. but the situation is not going ending well. Wonder what CR will say?

    • D.J says:

i agree with everything you said. i dont hate her, but seriously if you dont have anything new or original to add, keep your mouth shut. and now with iker's comments on Cris being 'selfish in the best way' (which i think is a mistake on his part, he should have kept quiet) it really seems like she was sort of putting forward his POV. i dont know how this will affect the team dynamic though…we've only started gelling together

  68. cymraeg_ddraig says:

Oh my word. Get home from an awful day in work and then this……bad day forgotten. Mmmm

  69. WTF says:

This is Genius, Now i don't expect to see him with a goat beard until the endorsement is over, Bravo philip sensatouch3D!

  70. mamaly says:

    hothothothot , so cool

  71. Louise says:

The Real Madrid pics are great.

Oh my but does he look gorgeous… And he's the perfect spokesman for a razor–see how good their product made him look?! *eyeroll*

But they should have gotten Xabi, too.

    • Summer says:

Of course…I agree with you, they should have gotten Xabi… Iker is wonderful but no one is like Xabi and could compete with him… Xabi is simply fantastic one of the best things in this world…He comes from an other planet!!!

  72. BarceLisa says:

now if we can only get him to endorse full-length mirrors! irony is he is dressed well here.
