QOTD: Victoria Beckham Serves School Dinners

Images all copyright Glamour US

“I travel a fair amount, and when I’m here in Los Angeles, everything revolves around the kids… So if I’m not working, I go to the school and help serve lunches to the children.”

–Victoria Beckham, in the March 2010 issue of Glamour US.

In other Posh news, her bunion is difficult to look at, and two of her dresses made debuts on the Grammy Award red carpet. Nice one!

Well, not on the bunion. But well done on the dresses, luv. And on the moonlighting as a dinner lady stuff. We’re kind of getting on board with the new VB.

Kickette LOVES Vicky, everyday there are articles on Mrs Victoria Adams Beckham here.

Jennifer Hudson was gorgeous, I have to say. Jennifer Nettles dress, however, is not the “investment piece” her line boasts. Very dated.

Her shots for Glamour on the website looked amazing – can’t wait to get the mag!

Love both outfits on the red carpet. Especially Jennifer Hudson’s.
She needs to lay off the heels and give her feet a rest.

    That poor puppy…

I’d like Victoria Beckham more if I knew for sure this “kinder, gentler” version of her wasn’t a demographically researched PR ploy. Vicky is probably coming out with a design collection for middle-aged ‘soccer moms’…and needs to “connect” with them in advance of the launch. After all, the population bubble has shifted towards females 45+…so that means the majority of women with $$$ for clothes…don’t want to wear what Claudine Keane wears.

(I do like the sharp-angled design Jennifer Hudson wore…even though it kind of reminds me of an upscale French maid’s costume…but maybe she meant it to look that way…)

A little too much thigh shoving on that first pic for my liking. I didn’t need to know her that well……

Unf, I can’t WAIT to get my copy of Glam mag. She is SO pretty on the cover! I love that side of her- simple, yet cute, fresh, and fun. Love her make-up and hair. I aw-ed over the part when she mentions about the little girls commenting on her dress; that’s exactly why I want them to have a daughter already!

  8. At least American mums can rest assured that this dinner lady won’t be sneaking any chips from the kiddies’ plates.

Can’t say they’d be too happy with the amount of leg she’s showing off though! ;)

What is this picture trying to prove. We all know she doesnt act like that.

Why do we have to read this kind of things?I don’t like the woman,ok..but I bet my house she has an army of unknown designers making dresses with her name..and then serving lunch at school…please…please…I bet my whole nation that she doesn’t even know where her kids school is..c’mon..

I read the Glamour article and she came off as very likeable and down to earth. It’s so different from how she appears when she’s photographed out and about. I’m really liking her softer image.

And I thought both dresses she had on the Grammy red carpet were fabulous!

  12. I’d pay any amount of money to see VB in a hair net and rubber gloves serving up fries and gravy in the school cafeteria.

Jennifer Hudson looks amazing in Victoria’s black peplum design. Not crazy about the red and black cut-out number on Jennifer Nettles.
