Questioning Coleen McLoughlin’s Trousers
A simple question, Coleen,
Pourquoi?
Please do tell: why are your trousers so bloody long?
Why doth they draggeth along the pavement, collecting dust, scraps and squirrels?
Yes, a clean, unbroken line can make your legs look longer. And sure, when you spend £600 on a pair of slacks you shouldn’t have to do anything to them, they should come perfectly formed and perfectly tailored. But such is life. Life is not always fair.
And so, we ask, again: why?

how are you feeling -aside from the frustration of today’s game?
they are called wide leg trousers and they are very fashionable in liverpool
I am short and this so doesn’t make you look taller; it only makes you look like your pants have eaten your feet. So not attractive, fellow short-legged peeps out there!
In my opinion it’s as simple as that: she has short legs and designers create trousers for women with long or at least average legs.
She probably thinks the longer the jeans the slimmer her legs will look. I’ve seen her looking far better and less 60s-ish.
What makes the whole thing even worse is that as she’s viewed as a fashion (I was going to say icon here but she’s not really she’s just someone some people want to dress like) this whole horrible trend of not hemming pants will continue.
Maybe she needs a pedicure? Even then that’s no excuse for pants that eat your feet.
