Err… generally, the stomach cramps I experience are unpleasant, but… different people, different opinions I guess. And I agree with Louise – Uggs? Really?

  2. carly says:

Wow, she's pretty. Not sure about the cramps, that's probably an Italian expression, I prefer the butterflies myself.

  3. dcubetcha says:

    poetry.

  4. Genevieve Gourcuff says:

She used to be so much prettier when she was blonde and more natural… like in L'Ultimo Bacio

  5. Mrs.De Rossi says:

Love maybe. Constipation definitely. Do you think she got the two confused?

  6. izzy says:

She's cute. I've come to accept UGGS as my dog walking shoes, even if I do secretly want to wear them at all times.

  7. aristeia says:

Btw if those stupid uggs weren't on her feet I'd think she'd look really cute as a whole. She wore them out to dinner w/ him too. Can a Pool WAG please step in and help? Someone get Yulia up in here.

  8. Anna (Frau Manuel Ne says:

girl, eat a burger! anyway, good luck to albie ;D

  9. Malin ("MrsFern says:

Weird quote, but she is cute! I want that hair of hers. *stares*

  10. aristeia says:

No, girlfriend deffo said it. I just meant that in context of English idioms, we could equate it to saying "so in love it hurts". Then again, actors aren’t always the most normal people. ;P Maybe dating Aqui should come w/ a case of Pepto Bismal?

The idea of Alberto breaking some bed posts whilst getting busy gives me stomach cramps has me all aflutter.

  11. Lolinha says:

What's with these names?! She's cute though, UGGs and all. Cramps, aye? Whatever floats your boat, sister.

  12. aristeia says:

This is the original sentence in Italian, "Il nostro è un amore che ti fa venire i crampi allo stomaco".

It’s not an idiom in Italian, they adopted the butterflies expression too. However, translating something word for word sometimes completely strips the sentiment or thought behind something (not you Kickette, whoever translated).

Think along the lines of, "I love him so much it hurts". Sounds more familiar? Most Italian websites when reporting on it commented on it being romantic. Ie: "Per fortuna che il romanista ha trovato l’amore, e che amore!" (How lucky that the Roma player has found love, and what love!)

    Dani, it’s 4 syllables: Kwa-troh-chyaw-kay.

Michela, I get cramps in my stomach from the entire Roma squad. However, it’s usually when they are made of fail that make me queasy.

  13. Kate says:

    Benvenuta a Liverpool Michela!

  14. Miss Universe says:

I totally got what she was saying.  And it’s a sweet sentiment.  She’s beautiful too.

  15. Carson says:

She’s so cute, she gets away with the Uggs.

  16. Mrs Lampard (The Onl says:

she is a kind of actress here in Italy, she has done just one movie..rubbish movie, the stuff that 14y.o like…for what I know she isn't as pretty as she does look, she as been reported like a bully girl who loved to have fun of others not as pretty as her… btw aristeia is so right, her expression was a way to say: we are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much in love.

  17. Fer_Lahm says:

    Nice handbag.

  18. HiL says:

    LOL @ Louise

  19. Liz (Mrs. Vucinic) says:

Lol…. I sincerely hope that the cramps thing was an Italin idiom that didn't translate well. Otherwise *shakes head* oh Michela.

  20. nicki says:

I really like her bag, and her hair. And yep, the Boots can go.

  21. Dani.Mrs Jos? Manuel says:

  22. Dani.Mrs Jos? Manuel says:

  23. striker says:

lol… do you want cramps in the stomach?? she's cute though.

  24. Becca says:

I think anyone would have cramps in their stomach is they were dating a footballer, no?

  25. Venice says:

    Whoa… she's gorgeous!

  26. LoveLamps says:

The things that are lost in translation! She is stunning. I can't wait to see her shopping with Alex!

  27. Kelly says:

i see your idiom explanation, @aristeia and raise you this…. crampi allo stomaco – verbatim – cramps of the stomach. her words, not mine. :) also if the daily goddamn fail could get their acts together once in awhile they would realize this wasn't her quote at all: 'Alberto is the most important love story in my life,' she said. 'Ours is a connection like one in a film. 'I dream of marrying him one day. Ours is a love that gives your cramps in the stomach.' what she said was… "Our love is like a story in a movie." and "We've broken many-a-bed-posts" That last part is 100 percent factually false.

  28. Erin says:

Welcome to Liverpool, Michela! Glad you're happy, and glad that my love has never given me stomach cramps. LOL

  29. chiquita says:

She is gorgeous. She just needs to get rid of those boots.

  30. Julia says:

I have to confess that she’s cute. But with a hint of a calculating look… Hmm. Dunno, I wouldn’t necessarily date her.

  31. autumnmaple101 says:

Wow, she looks fantastic. Casual but classy, and really pretty to boot!

  32. Louise says:

You know what gives me cramps in the stomach? Those Uggs.
