Quiet Riot: Nicklas Bendtner & Daniel Agger, Denmark NT

Image via tumblr.

The ‘drunken rampage’ is a concept we’re fairly familiar with in the Kickette office, although we generally refer to it as ‘arriving for work’, ‘leaving work’ or the ‘editorial meeting’. But it appears that if you are an internationally renowned footballer, such things are rather frowned upon.

Who knew?

Daniel Agger and Nicklas Bendtner learned about that the hard way this week, after being accused of staging their own ‘editorial meeting’ in the team hotel after Denmark’s 2-0 win over Sweden last Friday. According to reports, coach Morten Olsen allowed his boys a little freedom to partaay in Elsinore – an act that somehow resulted in a guest alleging he was assaulted by team members, including Agger and Bendtner.

The incident was investigated by local police the following morning. It had been stated that ‘charges were dropped’ due to lack of evidence, although today’s press reports seem to suggest that the victim, Jesper Jensen, is not prepared to let the matter lie that easily. Especially since the Danish Football Association allegedly broke an agreement that no further comment would be made by either side.

This one could run and run, Kickettes.

Jesper Jensenhad been started the charges were dropped due to lack of evidence, although today’s press report seems to suggest the victim. I think no one have absolutely no problem believing all the bad stuff I hear about him.

Whoa… if we're gonna talk about hair crimes from Cesc and Nando, we're gonna need to add Agger to the list.

That is interesting. Makes me think that something must've happened, or do crazy just make up stories like this???

  7. Jen says:

Can Danny Agger assault me please???? Why does he look so young in this photo???

Oh it does run. Today Ekstra Bladet has 6 articles on the matter, and there is nothing new. The victim is getting support by friends and family. Well there is a surprise. Agger was knocking on doors at the hotel with some groupies? Somehow I can't see Agger doing that. The case it closed by the police I have so much faith in them to believe there is no case when they have closed it The victim probably wanted some cash from the papers

I dislike Niclas Bendnter sooo much! Arrogant prick with a pompous self image. I have absolutely no problem believing all the bad stuff I hear about him. Even from one whose silence can be bought with a jersey, jeez…

    • Agnes Wonka says:

do you know him personally? sent my regards to him

      • Kristina says:

lol, look who's talking! No I don't know him personally, just as I assume you don't know Shakira, Cesc's current wag and all the other wags that you seem to hate so much. But I know a couple of guys that I can ask to forward a message to Nicklas. That is, if they want to have anything to do with him no more. I doubt that.

        • elsebethynwa says:

Nicklas is arrogant, yes. However I think he has redeemed himself a lot since he moved to Sunderland. he has also said in interviews that he has been immature and now he will let him feet show off instead of bragging about his skills. I presume you are Danish since you know people who know him? Well then i'm sure you have also read his recent interviews? And besides Nicklas is on twitter so everybody can forward a massage to him if they want to.

          • Kristina says:

I'm not danish, I'm swedish. The guys I know used to play football and has actually come across mr Bendtner a number of times in the youth ranks. They have nothing nice to say about him. Look, I know people can change, but when they have a certain background and stuff like this happens I'm not surprised.

Zlatan has also said in inteviews that he has changed and that he has matured. Not much it seems. People seldom have a correct image of themselves.

        • Agnes Wonka says:

I have reasons to hate Shakira, because I have to stand his awful singing since I was six years old! In Latinamerica we know her since 1995, not like in Sweden that you know her since "Waka waka". Does that answer to your doubts?
I don't trust boys talking about other boys, because Nick is a football star, and envy exist among men too.

I can't see Agger being with groupies in the NT camp, but of course I could be wrong. He also said the NT were drinking shots and after bendtner's row with the other guest he went into town wearing socks and no shoes. Danish FA say nobody was drunk and didn't leave the hotel. Very slow news day it seems
