Rafa Márquez & Jaydy Michel: New York Social Scenesters

Jaydy Michel and Rafael Marquez

Rafa Marquez and his gorgeous wife Jaydy Michel (she’s even more stunning in person, trust us) attended a charity gala which benefitted Casita Jaydy Michel attends Casita Maria galaMaria, a center of arts and education for underprivileged youth. The event, seen by some as the unofficial ‘kick off’ to the New York Social season, was hosted by the zippy stylist, Robert Verdi, at famed NYC hotel, the Mandarin Oriental.

Rafa looked like a cup full of handsome yum in his tux, to which he added a bit of flair by donning a patterned bow tie. Jaydy opted for a ‘golden glow’ look with her strapless tea length dress which was complimented by teardrop diamond earrings.

    I love Rafa, but I have to admit he is being a bit of a twunt lately. Got himself left out of the Mexico squad for this week’s international game as well. Still one FINE looking man, though.

    And the comments he made at this even were great too! Basically invited a team in Mexico (Atlas) to come make a bid for him and told them he would listen.

    Don't let the door hit you on the way out buddy.

    Wish he spent the same amount of energy on the pitch that he spends on his attire.

    I can't stand Rafa for a plethora of reasons, but I will admit that he does look incredibly dashing here. And Jaydy looks lovely.
