Raffaella Fico: Enjoy/Player Hate/Swoon/Appreciate The Baby Bump

Here’s Raffaella Fico runway modelling in a bikini at a Milan Fashion Week show over the weekend.

mario balotelli ex girlfriend WAG italy serie A ronaldo virgin auctionNot sure about you Kickettes, but by this stage of pregnancy (ie, more than 1 hour, ie six months deep), isn’t it the law that one should be on the white suede chaise lounge being fed grapes and a wide assortment of bonbons whilst a random shirtless man turns the pages of Vogue for you to read?

We’re quite certain the only acceptable line of work at this stage is shopping, yes?

Its disguting on many levels. Cause she is using it to get attention and money, and because of who is the father. Hmm she probably got herself knocked out on purpose to be set for life..eww but with that guy?? disgusting..

I'm so over "baby bumps" (not pregnancy, but just the whole concept of flaunting one's pregnant belly like a 4-carat engagement ring). We get it. You're pregnant (and you're not the first, and you won't be the last). Congratulations. Now let's focus on the crucial stuff, like Yoann's eyelashes or Ramos's abs or Giroud's goods!

Motherhood is such a wonderful thing!!!

  5. jenny boyd says:

i guess it all down to fashion and money these days.

  6. xoWinnie says:

i think pregnancy is a beautiful thing and i don't like that people are criticizing her for wanting to show it off, however, she just looks so trashy, it's hard to defend her. maybe if this was done with a little more class, the baring of skin wouldn't be such an issue…

  7. Susana says:

We should expect nothing less from a woman who once tried to auction off her virginity….

  8. LaYoYa says:

She has no SHAME. I mean poor kid this is going to be her/his life with this woman that is in desperate need of attention

  9. kristine says:

    Is she a model?

  10. Donna says:

    this is ridic

  11. @Mumtaaaz says:

She's sexier when preggo to be honest, but hate the high heels. I'm just afraid she's gunna slip or smth.

  12. Martinrhein. says:

She has to pay the bills.

    • Jazz says:

No, she doesnt need to do that, it looks tacky. She just wants the attention. If she wants money she will probably sue Mario for child support when the kid is born anyways.

  13. tammyv says:

She is comfortable with her pregnant body than what is the big deal. It is natural, normal and the forced hiding of it seems silly.

That said that fact that the bikini bottom does not actually conform to her bum's shape is HIGHLY disconcerting and seems a failure of the designer.

  14. Kristina says:

I don't really like her, but she looks good pregnant.

And I don't get all these opinions about what pregnant women should or should not do, what they should wear or not wear. As long as you don't risk your or your baby's health I say go for it. If something makes you feel good it's probably good for your baby as well.

I like how in your posts you like empowering women Kristina I like it alot I agree with what you are saying here! but, I find it so weird that when it came to the Barcelona one, you found it hilarious and not to be taken seriously although it was a sexism announcement, if it is true anyway, just saying!

      • Kristina says:

lol, the Barca non-male steward decision was so utterly stupid and misdirected I just couldn't help laugh about it. As I said I just couldn't take it seriously. And I think people read waayy too much in it. I'm not going into it again. It was a stupid and rather sexist decision, but not as ideologically evil as many wanted it to appear.

      I'm guessing you're not a parent..

  15. Carla says:

Ever since Demi Moore took her clothes of we are being showered with naked/semi-naked pregnant women. I think all pregnant women are gorgeous and Raffaella despite the fact I don't like her looks gorgeous bump or no bump and despite highly questionable fashion choices she usually has.But I wish women would just cover up more-pregnant and non pregnant ones.

  16. Jayy says:

Marketing her child before the poor tyke is even born, I see.

  17. Cammie says:

She doesn't look bad pregnant, but she comes off as a trashy attention seeker.

  18. Thea says:

Really don't like those pictures – so over seeing baby bumps! Take a leaf out of VB's book at wear pouchos! It's the only time is acceptable to wear them!

    • German_Girl says:

Agreed! Some women seem to act like it's an achievement to get pregnant – it isn't. It's the bit that comes afterwards, how you raise your child.

      • Thea says:

Could not agree more! Wonder how long till the baby is introduced to us via Vanity Fair or Oh La or whatever is the publication de jour?

      • Kristina says:

Well, biologically it may not be an achievement, but psychologically and emotionally it can be. I happen to know several women, family and friends, that has gone through a lot to get pregnant. I've comforted my best friend that went through three IVF's to get pregnant. It was painful and heartbreaking. She was told that there was life inside of her, but it wasn't going to make it. I don't know how she pulled through and where she found the strength to try again. Third time it succeeded and she's going to pop any day now. And I'm gonna be a godmother!

It's a miracle, but some people have to fight for it a little bit more than others :) .

        • German_Girl says:

Oh yes, I'm sure it's heartbreaking for women who want to become mothers and can't. I didn't mean to belittle that.

I was referring to those women who become pregnant for the wrong reasons and then seem to parade their belly around like it's some sort of personal achievement.

          • Kristina says:

Oh, I know that you didn't do that. And I agree with you, some women seem to regard their kids as accessories.

      • DebS says:

        @German_Girl Spot on!!!
