We would like to refer you to earlier correspondence on this matter. Image: AP Photo/Jon Super.
This is the last summer results photo post before the football season starts again.
In other words, next week we have to stop mucking about and start doing it properly.

We calculate that if Kaka continues to defy his age for another three years, he will actually look younger than Luca. Which is frankly weird.

Noted master of the coiff Dani Alves has a feel of David De Gea’s smart new spike n’shave combo. Three out of five Kickette staffers said their cats preferred it, but what do YOU think?

Your eyes do not decieve you. Chelsea lost to Championship side Brighton the other day, having conceded 10 goals in five pre-season friendlies. Here’s a picture of Gary Cahill’s tongue to cheer you Blues up.

“Do you want some of this?” Well, actually yes, Sergio, we do. Could you bring some cupcakes and a bucket of margarita too? Image: AFP PHOTO/ADRIAN DENNIS.
After what feels like for-evah, the football season proper is due to kick off this weekend with a full Ligue 1 programme and the EPL curtain raising Community Shield, featuring Manchester City vs. Chelsea.
But if you can’t wait that long, immerse yourself in the thrilling finale of the Olympic Soccer Finals. The gents of Brazil and Mexico don’t play until Saturday, but the women’s final between USA & Japan is tonight! Wooh! Will the USA avenge defeat against the Japanese in the WWC final last year? Will Hope Solo fulfill her Kickette commitments and get drunk for interviewing purposes? Who will ‘do the worm‘? Why?
No, we don’t know either, but there’s a reasonable chance we’ll let you know.

The Real match was just beautiful. I could get (re-)used to score lines like that once the season starts.
And we got to see beautiful Bartra on the pitch and Jordi Alba's debut for Barca! Visca!
Holy Mother of God, Neymar is driving me crazy.
If Sergio Ramos can cut his hair, so can Neymar.
Real Madrid plays Celtic on Sunday. The waiting has seemed like forever. I can't wait for the regular season to start! Loved it when the commentators last night commenting on Kaka's age and then he turns around and performs brilliantly. I love him!
