Real Madrid: Poppin’ Collars In Hollywood

The Real Madrid boys show us how many bad fashion mistakes they think have been made today. Xabi Alonso’s pink popped collar and Wayfarers have ended our ability to function, btw. Is he throwing up a “K” for “Kickette”? Image via Sergio Ramos’s twitter.

enough of these boring idiots everybody (but me) seems to be drooling over.

Kickette, get a new and INTERESTING post going on!

    • DebS says:

boring idiots?! A bit harsh, don't you think?

@ Kickette I love ALL your articles! I'm an equal opportunity drooler :D

      • JulieFromParis says:

hey!! Im a drooler and proud to be :) If there is one place dedicated to shameless drooling over, it's Kickette :)

        • LoveFootballLoveFoot says:

Thumbs up for Deb and Julie… a quote from the very page of Kickette "For those who love the players as much as they love the game"… Proud drooler since '94. We might not drool over the same players or the same match everytime but we love to share our stories. Thank you Kickette and to all the clever posts I've read from all around the world. Howdy from Cali :D

    • SoccerDuckie says:

If someone thinks these guys are idiots, then bring on the idiots for me to drool over!!!!!! There are other girls who will happily join me in drooling over these fine idiots. ;)

Lola, why the tude at Kickette?

      • ASM says:

i'm with you..and if anyone dislikes 'something' here, don't bother to judge another,ok? ;)

  2. Ana;) says:

There goes the thumbs up again! lol love it! Now that someone mentioned it I am noticing how ballers have their thumbs up in pics. Still love them though!

The guys look like they're having lots of fun!

The only mistake Xabi made was the shirt, he shouldn't have worn it lol.

And whats wrong with the ray bans? I am I wrong for thinking they look cool?

  3. Whitney says:

Anybody else notice that there’s hardly anyone around them?

    • D0li says:

Yes! When was this taken? I can't speak spanish so I have no idea what Sergio is saying on twitter!

Love the pick though.. if your not a real madrid fan you wouldn't know that they weren't rich and famous! I guess that's why they love visiting America..

      • DebS says:

try using an online translator. If you highlight the text you want translated, right click and there should be an option to "translate" down near the middle/bottom of the menu.

on my IE, it defaults to the "bing translator". the menu will open in a new tab/window. Usually it auto detects the language it's translating from. If not, there's an option on the page to pick the language manually.

If you don't see an option to translate on the menu, go here http://www.microsofttranslator.com/Default.aspx?r…. You will need to copy the text and then paste it into the first box and then click the "translate" box. You can either set the first box to Spanish or "auto detect".

It's not perfect but it will give you a general idea of the translation. Not sure if the "Spanish" on the translator is Europe's Spanish or North, South and/or Central American dialect though.

No one is around because they took the pic right as the mall was opening, early in the AM.

Want a reason to smile? And maybe some of you ladies get a Frabregasm? Ever seen the NIKE commercial where Rooney sees how his future will be if he had not gone after the ball that was taken away by Ribery? Watch the video to refresh you memory and take a good look at 1:35…. IF YOU SEEN IT SKIP THE FIRST LINK AND SEE THE SECOND ONE. YOU WON’T REGRET IT!!!

    1ST VIDEO

    2ND VIDEO

Oh how I love Pique. Cescy lovers YOU’RE WELCOME!!! And thank you Iniesta, I’m not Spanish but you’re a hell of a player.

    • mila_casillas says:

I am pretty sure everyone and their dogs/cats have seen these ;)

    • zahara says:

thanks for the links, i hadnt seen the second one till just now.

      Classic :)

    • Villa MaraVilla says:

I've seen this. But is that David Villa in the background (at the table) in the second video?

      • LoveFootballLoveFoot says:

You're welcome Zahara… and to villa MaraVilla, people are saying that and who knows, but if it were him they would of put a closeup. I mean the guy was for until the semis and final the goal to guy, lol. They probably shot this right as their vacations began and we know Villa until the end was with his family and doing the Barcelona thing.

As for the other gals, I had seen the link for it but there were so many spoofs of the original nike commercial that i never clicked and i thought maybe some of the kickettes thought the same. And to be honest none of the cats or dogs in my family had seen it. Probably cuz we don't watch much tv unless its for games an occassional latenight shows or maybe because they're american cats/dogs that they don't care for football so they didn't tell me about it :)

    • Steph says:

Haha, thanks for this. :) I've already seen the second one, but I SO don't mind seeing it again! :P

    • Aime says:

oh my word the first video were the only reason I didn't chage the channel at half time..Fabregas all mad and stuff is totally drool worthy.(**,)

  5. freddiegirl says:

Ahhh, they were in Hollywood, I as so close! At least I got to go to the game tonight; just got back in… :D

  6. Zhenya says:

I noticed the Italians have been poppin collars too, so maybe Xabi is on to something!:D

    • Lydia says:

I've recently went to a wedding on an island and the groom instead of wearing a tie/bowtie/whatever, had popped his shirt collar… It's probably this summer's collar-related trend. But please, guys, do it only if it actually suits you, otherwise it's a disaster! So, if you're not Xabi, who looks fantastic no matter what, you probably shouldn't!!!

      • Lydia says:

Oops! Due to the extreme loveliness of the pic "I've been" became "I've went"… Sorry!!!

  7. elylovesfootball says:

LOL they look crazy!! especially Xabito haha <3
all really hot and woah to albiol! in this pic he looks very sexy ;)

  8. Erin says:

Xabi is perfection no matter what! I'm just sorry that he's now part of all this RM nonsense.

  9. Vanessa says:

RAMOS IS SOOOOO FREAKING SEXY! DAMN! :D

  10. sara says:

    wow amazing

  11. Muna says:

WHO'S THE GUY ON THE RIGHT???? :/

  12. JamilaRamos says:

Girls, do we actually need to say how hot Sergio is? Isn't it a mutual agreement/awareness? Hah

  13. zahara says:

i have a question..i am barca foreverr (trust me) but i like real madrid too (mostly), is that wrong? most barca supporters hate RM and RM supporters hate barca…

    • Queen B says:

One or the other, you can't split loyalties!

    • gin_in_teacups says:

I'm a Madrid supporter but I can't dislike Barca. They have too many players that I love, and they'll get Cesc eventually too. My love for individual players trumps team rivalries every time, I can't help it.

      • Queen B says:

Ah, so you’re not actually a football fan….

        • Jules says:

I have to agree with everyone below that this isn't a fair assessment. I'm a third generation cule but Spain is my NT, should I forget that because of three RM players we won the World Cup? I hate Real Madrid and while there are certainly RM players I dislike (looking at you C-Ron and Kaka), I don't wish them ill. Do I hope they lose more than Barca? Of course. Do I hope we beat them in El Classico? Definitely. But do I feel affection toward Iker, Xabi, Sergio, Raul and Alvaro? Yes.

        • gin_in_teacups says:

Not sure if you’re kidding, but as a girl, when someone tells me I’m not really a fan of a sport (or a band, or a certain movie or anything that is not supposed to be a girl thing and I’m “just in it for the cute men”) it is so insulting. I really hate that shit.

I love watching football. Sure I like the eye candy, but I love the game. I just wasn’t raised to hate teams. I’m a New Yorker and a Yankees fan since I was a little kid, but my dad is Dominican and he brought me up to support all the Dominican players. Which means I like the Red Sox, because they have a huge amount of Dominicans, and it doesn’t matter to me that I’m “supposed” to hate them. And I root for the Mets too, because they are New York. I never want Barca to win against RM, but even if RM lose I love them anyway, my loyalty doesn’t switch. But it’s like with my Dominicanos. I like Spain because of my ancestry, the U.S. because that’s where I grew up, and England because it’s my adopted country. So I support the players who are on the NTs that I like. I will always root for my team above all, but I don’t think that means I have to hate another team. And it definitely doesn’t make me “not actually a football fan.”

Not trying to be overly sensitive, and you may have been kidding anyway, but I get my back up about stuff like that.

          • zahara says:

            amen to that!

          • lulu says:

GIN! You can't help your latina girl blood! n_n

            I salute you.

And girls shouldn't question each other's tastes. There are enough guys giving us a hard time for liking football to be nasty on the girls who have peculiar tastes…

And appreciating the talent and the qualities of an "opponent" is not "sharing loyalties" is BEING WISE BEYOND YOUR YEARS.

            Grow up.-

          • Queen B says:

@Gin-in-teacups: chica chica, I am sorry of you thought I was being rude, I did not mean it, perhaps we should write in Spanish?! I too get annoyed with men who think we're only in it for the players, but then again the men I know think it's hot when a woman knows so much about the game itself and appreciates the game. Luckily, we have Kickette so we have the best of both worlds…buen finde wapa, y lo siento. Paz!

            • gin_in_teacups says:

@ Queen B. No problem chica! You know I had to stand up for myself just in case. But it’s all good. :-)

          • Steph says:

Another Dominican! :D haha, Seriously, I don’t like it when people say that, either. It’s really stupid. Who says you can’t like both? I’m the same with baseball, too. I totally get it. I support the Dominican players, too, but I just can’t bring myself to support A-Rod. :/ I just really can’t stand him or the Yankees, though some of the players are cool. I’m more of a Red Sox girl. :) lol. Exactly. I’m a newbie to football, but I definitely feel the same. I like all of the Spain NT players and I want to support them, regardless of what team they’re on. Though with the majority of the players being on both Barca and RM, I’m kind of torn. lol.

      • zahara says:

good, its nice to know im not alone Gin.
i know, i love a lot of the RM players. its kinda impossible to not like RM.
simply because you dont hate a team does not make you a non-football fan.
im with barca for eternity, but i dont not like madrid

        • Queen B says:

It's got nothing to do with hating. It's about supporting your team thru thick and thin, no matter what, and not because the central defender is hot, even though he is. Well OURS is anyway, not so sure about Barca's ;)

          • zahara says:

i agree..and our central defender is waay hot too :)

            • DJ says:

what? Pepe? lmao! oh god no!

oh i forgot, we have albiol too. he's ok :) )

              • DJ says:

im confused who supports RM ad who supports barca, but this was jokingly aimed at RM :)

                • zahara says:

haha lmao…im with barca and i meant puyol..some people find him really ugly but i think hes got it going on :) hes all man and me likey

                  but yea albiol is cute

                  • JamilaRamos says:

I am a Madridsta no question, but I do appreciate Barca, it's interesting to have a team to rival. I don't live in Spain (yet!) so I don't know the full extent of the heat between the two teams, so I just put up with media reports blah blah blah.

Ok, I must admit, Barca have some VERY hot players i.e. Pique. Cesc is STAYING at Arsenal, for the next five years at least! He has to; he's the one of the few Spaniards who sacrifice the beautiful weather, food, people of Spain and put up with England. So us Londoners (and the rest of the country) need our share of Spanish meat!

Oh and Zahara, Puyol looks like Frankenstein, but girl HE IS HOT! There's something about his greasy curls that attract me. He's just so sexy and he DOESN'T know it!

                  • Mrs Puyol says:

Puyi is all man and HOT! I often feel that "pretty boys" are kinda boring (not always :) ). Puyi has got nice eyes and sexy lips. But most of all i love his fighting spirit and the confidence that he radiates. Yeah, he´s a fine man!

        • gin_in_teacups says:

          Solidarity sistah!

    • neenyah says:

Yes to supporting your team thru thick and thin, but that shouldn't stop you from giving credit where credit is due. I love my Barca team to bits and pieces, but you can not deny a good performance from a player. Sure, this RM player is good and I'll agree to that but I feel more passionate and connected to Barca.

      • Apples says:

Hmmm my brother has a similar "belief"? Like (okay this is off-topic, or off-sport? hehe) when he watches the NBA, he's a fan of the Celtics. When it was Lakers VS Celtics and Kobe would score, he'd be like "AAAGGGHHHH!!! NOOOO!!! KOBE, YOU MOTHERF*CKER!!!! ….Ugh. Damn, he's good." LOL!!!

      • zahara says:

thats what im saying too :)

sure, i like RM…but i belong at barcelona and i love it

        visca barca!

    • Mrs Puyol says:

I´m barca all the way, but i really like the way RM plays football. They are worthy opponents and deserves all the praise they get. You can be a die hard fan and still respect the other side.

      • zahara says:

awww thanks you guys, i see im not alone :)
feeling much better about how i feel..lol
oh oh and BARCA FOREVER and i appreciate RM too (except benzema, sometimes Cron)
and i agree its not really about the hotness, thats just an added bonus for us girls! its all about football and team spirit and just a little bit about ballers being hot
        life is all good
        visca barca!

    • LoveFootballLoveFootballPlayers says:

Hello Ms Zahara, I don’t think there is something wrong with how you feel. Deep down I don’t think it has much to do with the “hot” players. And what’s this about not being able to split loyalties? Really? Because I have love for two teams… Club America and my Mexican national team. And trust me sometimes its hard rooting for another team but often if in the end it benefits my team in a tournament I’ll do it. And I consider myself just Mexican, and don’t care about ancestry when it comes to football. Sometimes, you like a team that is not from your country. I myself love Italy, France, Holand and now I have a love for Uruguay. I want to see them win their matches. Doesn’t mean I prefer any of them over Mexico.

I mean, we don’t just eat one kind of food, or drink just one type of drink for the rest of our lives. Football to many of us women/girls is like part of our daily routine. I for one think about the next game my team plays, and hoping that someone in the team will get to play because he’s good at defending or scoring or whatever the situation with the player is. I “hate” chivas, our arch enemy. I want them to lose every game, but when someone like Chachirito would score a great goal especially at the last minute I would say damn it but with a smile on my face. Its true, if you truly are a football fan you know to recognize good football. Especially if they are the ones playing for your national team as were 5 chivas and except for Bofo I didn’t mind them or hate them then, lol I wanted them to do good in the WC.

Bless you gals, because in my family I’m the only female who likes football other than because my bf or hubby likes it. I know things and how the game is played. The men in my family that like football root for Chivas so I’m all alone with my America support and I don’t care. You can like many players individually or a team but deep down you only have one LOVE and that is football. Love is a beautiful team its only nice of you to want to share it :)

    • senora ramos says:

as a solid rm girl, i don't HATE barca (that's saved for the "other" madrid) but i don't like them (of course i'm also an arsenal fan). i can appreciate their football and their academy, but hope they lose every match and get relegate, right?!

  14. LaNovena says:

girls, look! Xabi in this sleeveless rm-training shirt…. hes just yummmmmmmy!!!

    http://estaticos03.marca.com/albumes/2010/08/06/m…

  15. Mrs Puyol says:

Wow! Sergio has ceased to surprise me a long time ago, but Xabi… I can´t stand popped collars! Seriously! Not in any colour! He should just take it off, right girls?

  16. Eebza says:

i don’t care what they wear.
    they’re just hot.
especially ramos. i think he should just forget about the whole floral shorts thing altogether… ;)

  17. Alone Albuquerque says:

Quarteto Fantástico ! Ele sbem que poderiam fazer um filme , aproveitando que já estão lá !!

  18. Rachel S says:

Seriously love Sergio for joining twitter…agree with everyone else in that his odd fashion choices are just so damn endearing. i just think "i wonder what made him choose this outfit?" lol. also, anyone else think his poor english skills are yet another endearing quality??

  19. Maria says:

    Oooh Sergio, Sergio…

Enough with the wardrobe malfunction!!! Maybe you should just go out with no clothes at all

    :D

  20. JulieFromParis says:

Those two followers found a good way to get Alvaro to answer their tweets, loll:

    "Jajaja!!! Holaaaa!!! :D @sohotsomealex: @aarbeloa17 (Alvaro's answer!!)

ALVARO!!! ANSWEEEEEERRRRR!!! NO TE DEJERE DE TWITTEAR HASTA QUE RESPONDAAASSS

6:10 AM Aug 4th via Twitter for BlackBerry®"

The + = Can U imagine having even just a "Hola" from The Ramos Himself?? :)

The – = Such tweet would probably convey the idea you're a pathethic looser with no life, No?? :)

    • gin_in_teacups says:

I always feel SO weird writing something to a celeb on Twitter. I don't know why.

But if I got a response, especially from the Ramos, my excitement level would prolly explode my head. So I think for me it's best to admire Sergio's Twitter from afar.

      • JulieFromParis says:

I feel exactly the same… It's also part of keeping my Sergio obsession under control, obsession limited for now to drooling when see him play and falling in love with him everytime i see his cute smile on a picture :) .

    • DebS says:

one girl was spamming Serio’s wall with :

SERGIO…APRENDE A CONTESTAR EN EL TWITTER

Think this was the same girl that was begging him to let his fans post to his wall.

      Yeeaahhh…abboouut that…prolly NOT gonna happen.

btw – what exactly is a “crack”?

      • JulieFromParis says:

"es un crack" means "He rocks", "he's a genius", it's the same in french and one of my friend's nickname. We love him but call him that because he often goes like "yeah, i caan help you with that, did it a million times" and you end up with a big hole in your bedroom's wall, lol… So, i guess it can be a bit ironic as well.

        • DebS says:

          tyvm for the translation!

It has an opposite meaning where I’m from and the first time I saw someone post it I thought, “wow, that’s rude!” But now I see it posted all the time, usually by Spanish speaking posters, so I figured it must mean something different! lol

    • Steph says:

LOL. OMG. Seriously? Yeah, it’s both good and bad. haha. I love that they’re tweeting so often. And Sergio just tweeted! :)

  21. Jessie says:

despite sergio fashion sense, he's still cute:)

  22. What kind of fashion mistakes? Their ordinary look make them SUPER HOOOOOOTTTT!!

  23. gin_in_teacups says:

Why did I only just get to LA tonight? Whyyyyyyy? I weep…

I think they all look great – pink shirt and flower shorts be damned. These men are sex on legs, no matter what.

  24. Ess-Jay says:

okay i know i'm a bad fan and all… but… who are those two on the right? from reading the comments i've figured that the far right is arbeloa…? yeh? who's that one next to him?….

they're all looking so damn fine!!! i don't care what anyone says about alonso's pink top. he STILL manages to pull off his usual sexy look with it on… mmmmmm, i love you xabi alonso! :D

and, sergio. ohhh sergio. you never cease to amaze me with your fashion choices.. *sigh*

  25. Areeba says:

I seriously like his T-shirt, it's very hard for men to pull off pink usually and Xabi does it quite nicely..Ramos seems to be a lively, fun guy and I don't mind his floral paradise shorts at all.. :)

great to have him on Twitter but, it's quite sad to find out that the Casillas account is fake :(

Way to go! guys even ur fashion faux pas look great to me! Omg the Spanish have cast a spell!

  26. lulu says:

Pssssst, Xabi!!! Come on, you thought we'd shy off at that popped collar?

When you're standing next to The Ramos' shorts with flores??

    Seriously????

    Hah!

We scoff at your weak attempts!

    Try harder next time.

    Harder.

    *giggles*

  27. Carol says:

i was there :( and i couldn't find them!!! so very close and yet so far away…let me go get my bottle of Jack Daniels :'(

    • LoveFootballLoveFootballPlayers says:

So sorry, but they have a game saturday and Sergio said they won’t leave for Mexico until monday right? You still have sunday… day of miracles.

      • Carol says:

thanks..and yes hopefully..if not i will be camping out at LAX lol

        • LoveFootballLoveFootballPlayers says:

I wish you luck Carol, today during my team’s match there was a report on RM and they showed all the fans looking over their practice and waiting outside the rosebowl. There was lots of ladies… what cracked me up was when the commentator said, “what’s shocking is the coach signing autograpsh, now there’s something to see!” LOL

          • Carol says:

thank you! i missed the game but hopefully i can make it to LAX in time…i just HAVE to meet them…and its my four faves!! 4 for the price of one!!! my heart would be overjoyed!! LOL

  28. Dedo-7 says:

woow all that is happening on twitter i should sign up………… sergio looks kinda wierd in these pics but still hes hot and xabi im so disappointed in you i told you not to wear this t-shirt !

  29. Tash says:

I wasn’t possible for the new season to start with Sergio bringing out a questionable pair of shorts…love it!

  30. sarrible says:

Oh, XABI. It is not 1987, home slice, and you are not Andrew McCarthy. I'm taking slight solace in the knowledge that Xabi is (barely) old enough to remember 1987. And perhaps Andrew McCarthy, if they dubbed Weekend at Bernie's into Spanish.

    • Jules says:

I thought it was more of a Less Than Zero homage than Weekend At Bernie's. Let us hope that poor sartorial choices are as far as that homage goes.

    • senora ramos says:

omg, i seriously lol’d at my house about that.

  31. shay says:

EVERYONE SHOULD FOLLOW ARBELOA TOO!!!!!!!! He started the twitpic craze and we are all very glad Sergio followed suit!!!!!

    http://twitter.com/aarbeloa17

    • Steph says:

YES. They should! And his tweets are pretty funny. :) And I think he tweets more pics than Sergio. lol.

    • EternalDreamer says:

Thank you! Time to learn Spanish!

    • Xabisy says:

and I love how Sergio and Alvaro are playing pass the message/twitter-policing posers particularly of Xabi and Iker (“Iker told me to tell you blah blah blah…”), who unfortunately do not have twitter accounts…YET! Cute posts in the english language too! =)

  32. Steph says:

Love these guys! :D I love that Sergio and Alvaro are on Twitter now. I hope they can convince some Xabi and Raul to get on there! :P And though I don’t usually love the popped collar, Xabi somehow pulls it off. haha.

    • zahara says:

yea hope raul and xabi get twitter too!god i love these guys.and youre right, xabi can pull off almost anything :)

      • Steph says:

Ahh, I know! Well, they’ve already let Xabi know about his posers on Twitter, so maybe he’ll change his mind and get on Twitter? Fingers crossed! haha. And YES. Xabi can pull off practically anything. He’s making me not hate popped collars as much. lol.

  33. LoveFootballLoveFootballPlayers says:

Well, not to be rude to my for now home country… but seriously, if you know anything about hollywood and their celebs or “famous people”, you’ll know that the only time they tend to look good is when they go to a party or a movie premiere. Otherwise they look awful trying to say “oh I just got up and put this together” when in reality we know that they spent lots of time finding some outfit to get the paps attention, like Britney Spears and LILO… Anyway the boys probably fit in so well.

The sad thing about all this, is that many americans won’t even know what they are missing or what’s worst in my opinion not knowing what lays underneath those clothes :(

    • DebS says:

true…and then there's those of us who DO know but are in the midwest! :(

Heck, if the confuse C-Ron with "the situation" there may be no hope!

Originally the Spain/Argentina friendly was supposed to be in NY (I would have to think it would have been at Red Bull Arena which is technically in NJ) but now it's in Rio. My daughter's crying over that cuz she would have been in Philly for college and would have gone to see it.

      • LoveFootballLoveFootballPlayers says:

I know what you mean… I’m not a RM’s fan but I wouldn’t mind seeing the spanish boys in person but more than anything I would of loved to have a valid passport right now but it takes too long to get it right now because I would of loved to see Mexico/Spain. Oh its going to be a great game! Spain/Argentina… hope they show that on tv. I think I’m developing bad feelings for Messi. Nooooooooo! Kickette makes you more addictive to these young men. why oh why? :D

  34. Violets says:

I think that Real Madrid might recruit based on questionable fashion choices. There was Becks in his super-metrosexual younger days, murse-lover Ronaldo, and now these guys.

However, the fact that Xabi looks incredibly hot in that pink shirt and popped collar (and WAYFARERS…I have a thing for guys in Wayfarers) says a lot about him.

  35. senora ramos says:

OH MY BOYS!!!! i love them!!! hope to see them sat!!!!

    sergio, love. lol!

  36. MeL says:

Hot Hot Hot!! !! Thanks Kickette!! !! Oh and they’re comming to
    M E X I C O !! ujuuuuuuuu!!

  37. Emily says:

their fashion mishaps make them so much hotter. Dear God i can’t contain myself. Sergio please please keep tweeting more pictures

  38. Jenna says:

i may not like real madrid but how can you not love these boys? i love how arbeloa and albiol can't live without each other.. and xabi trying to be gangster is hilarious. sergio just looks like well…sergio. haha he's so dorky, i love it.

  39. Louise says:

Because I’m feeling delusional today, I immediately tweeted back to Sergio for him to tell Xabi to put his collar down. I have this fantasy in my head of Sergio looking at the English words in confusion and handing his phone to Xabi. “Que?”

  40. MmmXabs says:

I love Twitter… it’s like an open invitation to go stalking! >:D

Xabs usually looks flawless, but what are you thinking, bb? Pink polo with a popped collar?! And wayfarers are on their way out. I’ll just blame this on the California sun that’s getting to your otherwise impeccable taste.

    • DebS says:

Hahahaha…My daughter called me a "creeper" (aka stalker) because I keep telling her all the latest news in the football world! Of course, her stalking Nando "doesn't count" because it's only one person! lol

  41. Dangerkitty says:

Why am I at work instead of out shopping? Ok, so it’s not like I could actually buy Alvaro and stuff him in my purse, but I could try! :-)

  42. aurrie says:

    serg,..keep posting interesting pics

  43. serena says:

god bless sergio for joining twitter. and god bless his ridiculous flowered shorts. why am i not in LA this week?? fml.

  44. neenyah says:

Dios mio! Alvaro is lookin the hottest of the bunch! Look at those guns! And the choice of watch and eyewear = props!

  45. LaNovena says:

I absolutely love them being involved in twitter so much. Its so fun!!! Just keep it up guys. I dont care about fashon mistakes, they are so lovely! =)

  46. simone says:

I don't care how many fashion mistakes there are they are just freakin hot

  47. beri says:

ah yes, this fan girl is happy! :)

  48. Jackie says:

Ughh was just in Cali! Wouldn't that have been awesome to see then there. Too bad back in NYC now :(

  49. tammyv says:

Hello Hollywood & Highland…why am I in my office in Weho?

    • Emma says:

Ugh you feel my pain!! My office is on Miracle Mile and I had to control myself. was thisclose to leaving lol

Do you watch any matches? We should have ‘kickette-like’ match viewing parties! Aka get knackered on champagne while watching the lovlies haha

Anyone else in the LA area want to join?

  50. Veronica says:

I live 20 miles away from there!! Why wasn't I there?? *Kicks self* The Ramos looks hot even in those weird beach trunk shorts. ;)

  51. Amber C says:

Kickette – I hold you completely responsible for my new found love that is Sergio Ramos. Which is not a bad thing AT ALL! God love him for his fashion mis-steps. To me, it does not matter what he wears, as long as I know that there is a fabulous six-pack abs underneath.

Keep posting fabulous pictures! Especially the shirtless ones!

  52. Jamtart Heart says:

Too cute…may actually…be dying from paroxysms of acute cuteness.

**holds paper bag to face in effort to restore breath of life**

Everything about these photos is at least five kinds of awesome, hahaha. A+

    • lulu says:

      Paroxysms!

you're so much awesomer than me. I saw this pic and I can't put two words together.

and you go and say "paroxysms"

      wow. *bows*

      • Jamtart Heart says:

Awww, thanks! No internet bowing allowed, though–I totally had to type it four times before I spelled it right, haha. :( I blame the paper-bag breathing, because it totally gets in the way.

Seriously, though, these photos and the fact that the Ramos posted them himself makes them the best thing ever, haha. I don't even care that two of them (TWO!) are wearing denim Bermuda shorts. So full of win that everybody gets a pass.

        • lulu says:

          Absolutely!

Yet, it is pretty cool you remain articulate even after confronting said picture AND low oxygen levels in your blood.

          Cheers :D

  53. LV girl says:

Maybe Xabi got his shirt dirty and borrowed Sergio's? It would explain how they both look.

    • lulu says:

that would imply they had some kind of shirt swappin' moment in the street or in a store …

      Oh. God… *gulp* Xabii…

  54. zahara says:

i dont give a damn about what there wearing (but i love alvaro's style and xabis and who am i kidding i love them all) so they look hot like a fresh bonfire and hey, they seem like good people so i give them thumbs up :)

  55. Anya says:

    Ay dios mio, ALVARO!!!

I never paid attention to his looks – how stupid and blind I was?

    Damn…

  56. kate says:

They are so adorable! But! Xabi, you are my dearest and classiest man! I think HOLLYWOOD makes him crazy.

  57. robin says:

sergio is hot, and i like his pants! : )

  58. MissEstonia says:

Where did Sergio find those shorts? I think my gran could use a pair. He and Xabi look ridiculous, the other two look fine, just like regular tourists. But seriously, pink polos + popped collar = NO.

  59. ASM says:

way to go the four musketeers!! ;)

keep posting lovely pix..hopefully with more 'fashion' sense LOL..

  60. Bri says:

These four love each other! All of Segio's latest Twitter photo ops are of them.

  61. Danii says:

    LOLOLOLOL

    Thats adorable.

    Sergio looking awesome as usual

    Thats cuute :)

  62. Cammie says:

Sergio seems like so much FUN..and he has a hot bod!

  63. Zinny says:

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! But this is Hollywood and Highland! The one time I'm not there, Xabi and Sergio are. This is too cruel for words.

  64. Lilia says:

I'm surprised Sergio isn't wearing a matching fanny pack.

    • MadridistaJenn says:

Agreed! He doesn't look very "Sergio". I want gold lamé shorts or green jeans with a Gucci man bag!

    • lulu says:

A fanny pack with Gucci or LV print on it!
      xD

      • JulieFromParis says:

BTW, did you see this picture of The Ramos’ arrival in LAX? Im really trying to be positive when it comes to his manbags but this one is a PURSE for God sake!! it really is.

  65. Huh says:

Is the guy at the right Arbeloa? Looks freaking hot! :)

  66. MadridistaJenn says:

I've never been so excited to see grown men at a mall like a bunch of high school girls before.

Why am I not there!?! This is purely torture.

  67. Blair says:

The fact that Michael Jackson's star is in such close proximity to Queen Latifah's, distrubs me immensely.

    • JV says:

      LOL, I couldn't agree more.

Sergio's shorts remind me of every tourist from the midwest… love him!

  68. serena says:

oh, can anyone translate sergio's latest tweet about Iker??

    • DebS says:

Also, what does "BSSS" or "BS" stand for…darn Bing translator is no help :D

      • Briel says:

I believe that in this case at least it means "besos" or "kisses" in English. Yep that's right, Sergio sends kisses to everyone on twitter!

        • DebS says:

lol Of course you've noticed that most of his followers/posters are female. Ever the flirt that boy :)

      • Emily says:

Hah yeah my translator didn’t know what it was either! i was confused!

    • Liz says:

he says that Iker doesn’t have a twitter & that he is not with them. he will be at the hotel or be around a different place.

    • Xabisy says:

Iker has no twitter…and is neither with us… must be in the hotel or out on a walk somewhere…something like that =)

I still love Xabi even in that get up!

      • serena says:

Thanks for the translation! Obviously my 3 years of spanish didnt pay off… if only my spanish teacher had given me more motivation, in the form of the spanish national soccer team!

yes, Xabi nor Sergio can do no wrong… i even find their absurd fashion sense quit endearing :) sigh…

        • Tash says:

lol have just picked up a varsity spanish course…is it so wrong that my motivation is Sergio?

      • Steph says:

haha, yeah. That’s what he said. :) Good thing he did, cause now I think people know for sure that Iker account on Twitter is fake. :/

  69. Jules says:

Why did no one warn Xabi of the dangers of mixing pink and ginger? Sergio, you have failed.

  70. Angie says:

Aww, too bad I'm on the opposite coast. I wouldn't mind helping them discard their poor choices in wardrobe, especially Sergio's shorts :)

  71. Liz says:

I don't understand why I left LA for the summer!

  72. Caitlin says:

Never before have I been so excited to have a Twitter account.

  73. Michelle says:

How many manbags do you think were purchased during this shopping trip?
