Red Carpet WAG: Sylvie van der Vaart At The Bambi Tribute, Berlin

No, it’s not a red-carpet tribute to the cartoon deer with the Gourcuff lashes. (Though how cool would that be?) Sylvie van der Vaart was out at the Tribute to Bambi charity gala in Berlin, which raises awareness for charitable institutions and associations that do not receive any state aid.
Good stuff.
Now let’s talk about the shoes. They’re Charlotte Olympia and we want to marry them.

I admire this lady's gumption- most women would be completely overpowered by a combination of ruffly dress+huge gypsy-style hoop earngs+ huge gold bracelets, but she wears them well!
Won't even hold the hair against her, since the growing-out stage has got to be a pain and I think having cancer is a much bigger problem than a few days when your hair is too fluffy on top. V. glad she's well now, tho.
She is a Barbie in human form. In the best ways. She's wonderful!
I love the shoes, but if I were to try and wear them I'm pretty sure I'd look like a clown hooker.
I love how the heel kind of disappears on the red carpet. The effect reminds me of those boots Posh wore that one time.

Sylvie always looks great! Her hair, her clothes, her makeup: always gorgeous. I don't really care for these shoes, but I do have a pair of Charlotte Olympia pumps that I love. Is it sad that I feel accomplished/proud for owning a pair before they become the trendy mainstream WAG wear (ex: YSL tributes, Louboutins, etc)? haha!
Love that dress with those shoes! It's very bold and I think she's working it. But I don't like the hair or the huge hoops. Sigh… I do so hate to criticize Sylvie.
I am pained to criticize anything about Sylvie but I'm thinking her hair is a tad too pouffy on top. A bit of a trim might help. Other than that…SVDV is Phenom!
