Red Carpet WAG: Sylvie van der Vaart At The Bambi Tribute, Berlin

Image: Celebrity-Paradise.com

No, it’s not a red-carpet tribute to the cartoon deer with the Gourcuff lashes. (Though how cool would that be?) Sylvie van der Vaart was out at the Tribute to Bambi charity gala in Berlin, which raises awareness for charitable institutions and associations that do not receive any state aid.

Good stuff.

Now let’s talk about the shoes. They’re Charlotte Olympia and we want to marry them.

  1. yeah says:

    i hate her.

  2. Chantal says:

Hm, I don't like her. Her laugh is so fake. But I guess I'm the only one here ;-)

  3. Unknown.. says:

Well I like that look but the only thing I don't like is the hair. She could do a lot more with that short hair. She could maybe wear it like Rihanna in her "Take a bow" video. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_30PRmkOl4ro/SnCCCmblNsI…

  4. Dru says:

I admire this lady's gumption- most women would be completely overpowered by a combination of ruffly dress+huge gypsy-style hoop earngs+ huge gold bracelets, but she wears them well!

Won't even hold the hair against her, since the growing-out stage has got to be a pain and I think having cancer is a much bigger problem than a few days when your hair is too fluffy on top. V. glad she's well now, tho.

  5. Ashlee says:

She is a Barbie in human form. In the best ways. She's wonderful!

  6. Kristina says:

I love the shoes, but if I were to try and wear them I'm pretty sure I'd look like a clown hooker.
I love how the heel kind of disappears on the red carpet. The effect reminds me of those boots Posh wore that one time.

  7. Gunnergirl1 says:

    :O THE SHOES!!
…Sylvie's not looking too bad either ;)

  8. Ivon says:

pink clutch, red dress, purple shoes, wouldn't be my choice,
but sylvie can definately have it, like everything else btw!

  9. mamaly says:

    as always Silvie looks stunning.
her C. O. shoes are gorgeous.

charlotte olympia even has nice ballerina's for a clumsy kikette like me.

  10. GracieB says:

is it just me or she looks like Olivia Newton John. luv the shoes, but i don't know about the dress.

  11. Goosie says:

Not sure if you're aware of this or whether this is important but I noticed that this website copied basically word for word what you guys had posted here. I'm not sure whom copied whom but I thought I'd let ya'll know.

  12. Lex says:

  13. Pam says:

  14. aps says:

  15. Jackie says:

Gorgeous dress… & she shoes are nice, except the colour imo.

  17. C16 says:

I personally don't like the match of the shoes and clutch with the dress, which is gorgeous.
She's always wearing so much make-up, she's gorgeous, I don't think she needs it.

  18. Kate says:

She is so gorgeous, I actually want her.

  19. Natasha says:

    p.s. those shoes are awesome

  20. Bebo Ronaldo says:

Well said…we sooo wana marry dem!!

  21. Kezia says:

Looove the shoes, clutch and dress. But why does her hair and makeup look like she's starring in some 80s Dynasty revival type thing? I remember watching that show when I was 2.

  22. Zinny says:

Literally the most beautiful shoes I have ever seen in my life! And I love how they're paired with dress. A lovely outfit, overall.Z

  23. jackie says:

Love the whole outfit…totally to die for.

    and love charlotte olympia

  24. Kylie says:

Sylvie always looks great! Her hair, her clothes, her makeup: always gorgeous. I don't really care for these shoes, but I do have a pair of Charlotte Olympia pumps that I love. Is it sad that I feel accomplished/proud for owning a pair before they become the trendy mainstream WAG wear (ex: YSL tributes, Louboutins, etc)? haha!

  25. gin_in_teacups says:

Love that dress with those shoes! It's very bold and I think she's working it. But I don't like the hair or the huge hoops. Sigh… I do so hate to criticize Sylvie.

  26. Missy Manchester says:

I am pained to criticize anything about Sylvie but I'm thinking her hair is a tad too pouffy on top. A bit of a trim might help. Other than that…SVDV is Phenom!

    • CarmenFoxe says:

I see what you mean, but I really think it suits Sylvie! :)

    • Leya_S says:

My sentiments exactly! My first thought was "Girl Crush!", but my second thought was definitely "her hair's looking a little tall….like 80s-tall…"
      She still looks amazing, though.

  27. Sara P says:

Love the whole outfit. She always looks FAB!

Speaking of Bambi….she has seriously doe eyes. Thought it was kind of cute and funny! :)

  28. Not a fan of the shoes but her dress and clutch are adorable. So pretty and feminine. Love ya, Sylvie!

  29. MadameGourcuff says:

love her outfit, although i don't like red and purple together

  30. CarmenFoxe says:

Love the shoes. Love the dress. Love the hair. Love Sylvie.

    • Alessandra says:

i could never pull off anything like that, especially with that clutch and its clashing colours, but damn, she did it well.:]
