We certainly hope our Manchester-based readers are doing extra sit-ups and polishing their best pair of pulling pants to get ready for the opening of Rio Ferdinand’s new restaurant, Rosso.
After a few low-key “soft launches”, Rosso is scheduled to open officially… soon. We think in two weeks. No one is returning our calls.
In any case, the fare is Italian, so best to start saving up your carbs now. Don’t waste them on pettiness like getting energy or feeling human. Save them for the restaurant. Your future wealth and happiness depends on it.
Side note: Got to say, we’re pretty hard pressed to think of any British footballer that has a better body type for carrying the casuals than Rio.
